They called it a Butterfly Lock:

I remember my Dad had the same kind of clasp on some of his regular old watch bands.

It seems to be the same as on some of the 3 & 5 bead chain bands from Hoco.

I must say I'd love this with Utica Guy Adapter and logs. Like the adapters on my 5Bead Hoco band.
It'll look much better IMO.

Guys, you are ripped off:
I purchased those bands directly to the factory on Alibaba for 30$... Dont pay that much when you can go directly to the factory!

Great point. Personally I like buying on eBay from a seller with a track record. Sure it's more, but I'm a little more certain about what I'm going to get. There are so many posting in alibaba/express it makes my head spin. I don't know which one to trust and when I do, I'll be waiting a month to see what I ended up with.

Just got my black link clone with butterfly lock. It said black but it is more of a gun metal and looks absolutely fantastic with the space grey sport. I haven't compared it to the apple black. I do see the slightest gaps between links when looking at certain angles after I removed several links. Prior to that I didn't see any gaps. I have small wrists so it has to bend a little more but they are so minimal it's kind of stupid to mention.

Just got my lnkoo999 blue leather loop. It's pretty nice, especially for the money. Magnets feel very secure. The adaptor width is a hair off at either corner but not enough for you to really notice in daily use.

I have read about so many people on these threads who haven't either liked what they ordered when it arrived or had a problem with bands they've ordered and wanted to return them. Whether you spend $30 or more it's still money and it does add up. By buying from someone at least on ebay or amazon, you have the organization's backing and will get a refund if you need to return it unless "no returns" are clearly stated in the listing. By letting the sellers on ebay or amazon act as the middle man, you don't have to worry about customs, etc. and they handle delivery and problems. I've read posts from many people who have placed orders from overseas and only gotten lip service as to when a product they paid for would be shipped. Sometimes the answers they get is it must have been lost and there's no way to track it. A lot of times people just keep their item because trying to ship it back to China isn't worth the issues they face. To get their prices so low are you sure about the safety or quality or animal source in the case of leather of the materials used or the conditions their employees face. I'm sure the French and Italian leather used by Apple was well vetted and the chemicals or adhesives used were too. That middle man does serve a purpose and makes some money off doing so, but it's all what you're comfortable with.

BTW on that website I saw the Nomad watch charging stand they're selling and sounds like they're manufacturing. Same exact stand based on all the photos. Seriously doubt Nomad licensed them to sell it. As an American consumer I wouldn't buy from someone who sells counterfeit items which I consider that to be. Every country has products that get ripped off and cost their native companies and their companies workers money. It's a tough problem to combat but it really has to start with the buyers. It's actually one of the problems I have with many of the items in this thread. You can make something that looks similar in style to it, but don't seek to completely rip off others. That's where the real rip off is.

Counterfeit items? Please remind me on what post you are right now? Counterfeit iPhone bands?

Ebay does not gives you any kind of security, Paypal does, and you can pay via Paypal. I always purchase directly from manufacturer and when I have a problem (almost never, and delivered via DHL in 5 working days), I do a paypal dispute and get refund. At the end, if you feel more secure by paying a lot more for the same, good for you.

Thanks for the pics. Can you post a pic of the two buttons on the clasp while its on your wrist. I wanted to see if there is an improvement in how flush the buttons sit now. Also how do you resize the band. Is it like apples where there are release buttons. Thanks.

I hope it's okay to cross post since it's the link replica and it belongs here as the non OEM thread as well.

I got my Freedomoclock Link Band today. Surprised that it was here when I got home from the hospital and well, needless to say I'm thrilled!

Removed 6 links because sadly for my tiny wrist I actually would've needed more removed so now fits a little on the lose side which I don't mind if I don't care much about the heart rate monitor to work correctly. I absolutely love it and I'm surprised by the quality of it.
No gaps whatsoever to report unlike other bands and it fits comfortably on my wrist.
I think I found my favorite band of them all considering I had the link before and because I couldn't justify the $489 for it, I returned it and I'm not one bit upset for having done so.
This one is just as good as the Apple OEM Link and it fits nicely and for a girly girl with a little bit of Tomboy, this hits he spot!
Here's some photos for it.
I have to admit though, the link removal process was a little bit of a pain but all things considered, it's totally worth the $70 I paid for it so now I'm considering buying the gold and the blue. I'm not sure if either including space black would look good with the stainless steel but, let it suffice to say that I'm the "never say never" kind of gal!️ Got it from here and please check the photos below!
