I wish mine looked like that when I received it. It really does look like u have no gaps between the links
I'm starting to believe that the gapped bands coming out are possibly defective? I went ahead and ordered two more from Freedomoclock to see if they're as good as this one. All I can say is I'm so glad that this guy has such great customer service. I know if I wasn't satisfied with the band more than likely Richard would partially refund me if I decided to keep it or full refund me for it either keeping or sending it back. Richard is in China so he is the one supervising one by one every product that leaves from the factory to be sent to the U.S. To his friend in NY but sadly the numbers are so high is hard to keep up with every single link so for what he's told me some do fall through the cracks. And that's the reason why for the 180 days warranty which I still consider the best deal out there. So all I can recommend is that if you or others got a gapped band from him, let him know and I'm more than sure he'll work something out for ya!

I hope it's okay to cross post since it's the link replica and it belongs here as the non OEM thread as well.

I got my Freedomoclock Link Band today. Surprised that it was here when I got home from the hospital and well, needless to say I'm thrilled!

Removed 6 links because sadly for my tiny wrist I actually would've needed more removed so now fits a little on the lose side which I don't mind if I don't care much about the heart rate monitor to work correctly. I absolutely love it and I'm surprised by the quality of it.
No gaps whatsoever to report unlike other bands and it fits comfortably on my wrist.
I think I found my favorite band of them all considering I had the link before and because I couldn't justify the $489 for it, I returned it and I'm not one bit upset for having done so.
This one is just as good as the Apple OEM Link and it fits nicely and for a girly girl with a little bit of Tomboy, this hits he spot!
Here's some photos for it.
I have to admit though, the link removal process was a little bit of a pain but all things considered, it's totally worth the $70 I paid for it so now I'm considering buying the gold and the blue. I'm not sure if either including space black would look good with the stainless steel but, let it suffice to say that I'm the "never say never" kind of gal!️ Got it from here and please check the photos below!

Thanks for the pics. This is probably the best quality clone i've seen in terms of gaps and spacing. How do you remove the links btw.

Jmona, how did you remove links? I don't want to break anything and it doesn't look very intuitive (unless I'm overlooking something).
Stick a little sim remover tool in the holes on the side of the band and jiggle the band. It comes right apart. Also, there is video of someone removing links earlier in this thread. Somewhere between page 38-48.

True. Mine doesn't have any holes on the sides of the links whatsoever. If you got a tool with the link you should be able with the two point end to push the pins in and as you're pushing them in, you should be able to kind of bent the links and separate them. I'm not saying you won't scratch the inner link because you will as you attempt to remove them but better the inside that the outside part of the band.

Look good. What is the smallest size I can resize to? My wrist is around 150mm

I asked Richard the precise sizing as well and this is what he said:
"Size: 175mm is min. size for wear of 38mm apple watch (with 6 links remove max), if we add 2, the min. size will be 150mm(it should be ok for most of people) but you can't remove he last 2 pins on end. They hold the butterfly clasp on the link together."

I hope this answers your questions

I am not sure if you watched my video but I do have one video that shows how to change straps for the spring bar and lug style adapters. The method that this clone uses is the same which means you will need a special tool to depress the springs so that you can remove from the holes so that the links come lose. Did freedomoclock provide a special tool for this? If he didn't then you are screwed. You might need to bring it to your jeweler to do it for you for a fee.

Here's the pics that I said I'd post...I am a bit concerned about the gap. I did contact Richard (Freedomclock09) and he just said that the manufacturer is working on the gap...however that it may be a necessity because of the lack of mobility that link has. He told me that I could return the band for a refund...didn't say anything about a replacement. I did just email about a replacement possibility and I'm waiting for a response. Kinda bummed if I can't get a replacement. I may just keep this one...but the gap is bothering my OCD a bit. (Then again, the gaps ARE pretty large.)

I got a tool in the box that I got from him. You have to depress the spring into the link itself and get one side out. Wiggle it around and it will come out. I took out two links in about two minutes.

Does it make any difference if you made the strap a little looser? The pic showing the clasp looks like it's on real tight! That third pic however, you don't need OCD to find that gap rather large...

I got it, thanks. It takes a little effort. I was just concerned originally that I was doing it wrong and didn't want to snap anything. It took me a while, one side was a lot less cooperative than the other.

Did you order yours from freedomoclock also? and what were the issues you had with it?

If you go down to Bigdog's post with pics, you will see the issue I had with mine. The gaps between the adapter piece and the first link were huge.

I did return mine, the seller has a very good return policy and even paid for shipping back to him.

I am hoping the next weeks produce a better batch with no gaps.

The above in bold I can understand, however, we have seen plenty of others post the link clone that does not use the butterfly clasp this current clone uses and all of those have almost no gaps whatsovere. See the prior page and look for cjhooper. His black band shows no gap

Received my "Wearlizer" leather band from Amazon yesterday ($40 via prime) and I'm really impressed. The band isn't as sturdy as heavy as the apple oem leather loop but the comfort and magnets are the same. Here are pics of it on my space black ss and next to the apple brand blue loop.

Okay so there has been so many posts since I've last posted. So who's the best to get a leather loop and a link bracelet from? Freedomoclock or lnkoo888? Those are the two most talked about sellers if I remember correctly

You're correct, these two sellers seem to be the most popular, at least in this thread. I have not bought anything from lnkoo88, but I have bought a red LL from Freedomoclock09, or Richard, so I can only speak of him, to which I recommend to, at least, U.S. residents. Here's why-

(1) I received a working tracking # within a couple days, and the package

(4) came from the U.S. (Utica, NY). It took about 4-5 working days to arrive to the southeastern U.S.

(2) His website claims 180 days warranty on his items, which is easier to use since the seller and his items are located in the U.S.

(3) When I emailed him about the product, he responded within a day.

I bought a blue LL from Inkoo, which I really like. It's my daily driver band. The shipping is a little slow, since it seems like it really comes from China before being shipped from "NJ". Other than that though, the product is great, prices were great, and he was responsive to communication.

So I got today the 90% clone of the link band, as advertised and reviewed by @Tangmu on this thread.
Too bad mine arrived with few scratches on it so I asked the seller for a partial refund that he just kindly accepted.
The band is exactly like reviewed here, very well made, perfect connectors (no gaps !), even if I wouldn't be as ecstatic as the reviewer regarding all details. (especially the way links are connected gives me a fragile feeling). Just hope it's just a subjective impression since I'm wearing since 3 weeks a HOCO band really seriously well made for really less money. (90$ vs 35$). I know it's not the same thing but... ;)

looking at the link clones version 1 and version 2 (Freedomoclock09). I am now wondering if you can combine them, meaning keep the top part of the version 1 where the gaps are non-existent and the bottom part of the version 2 for the clasp. hmmmm someone do it lol

I noticed that in the pics as well...but it's not as tight as the pics would suggest. I have room, but maybe it's a little snug. I may add a link, my concern is the watch moving around and not being able to track HR. Either way, however, the gap is there and doesn't seem to be effected by tightness.

I think I recall you having a tungsten band, how does it compare to the link bracelet you've received and which do you prefer?
