I bought what's listed as a 1:1 clone of the link band for around $50 on eBay

acd34023b04252314156749fb22efac0.jpg

Edit. Well I'm pretty let down for $51 shipped. This is a very very lightweight replica with a big sort of gap between the links. Doesn't use the apple link removal Methid despite what was listed. And the clasp seems extremely delicate.

eBay seller offers returns. Only way I'd keep this is if they refunded it down to a $20 band.

Surely at some point a proper 1:1 will come out.

The one I ordered from battery sky on eBay arrived and it's also......terrible. Maybe my expectations are too high but for $100 CDN I expected a lot better. It's similar to the one above, but it doesn't look very black to me. It looks greyish and dull on the wrist.

I'm done with bands that aren't from Apple, despite the cost.

I've had good luck with leather loops. But now I think for a link hand I'll find a proper hard party and use adapters. Or stick with the hoco. I actually like the hoco five head. If they have it in black now I'll probably go with that.

I agree. For $50-75 US it should be better.

Is this the hoco one you refer to?

If so this looks very similar to my gen1 which feels heavier that my gen 3

Has anyone got an official link bracelet they could weigh so we know how light and cheap the gen 3 really is?

No. I apologize. I didn't realize they'd entered a race to clone. I'm refers to the hoco 3 bead which is built like a tank and weighs about 350g. They have s five bead too. At he time I bought my 3 bead it wasn't available in any sort of black. If it is now I'd consider it over that cloned one. It looks unique and I quite like it. Google hoco 5 bead and 3 bead to see what I mean.

Sorry for the confusion.

I agree. K owing the weight would sure be helpful.

Can you even buy a space black link separately? Not hits I would pay $450 for a stainless steel band

Actually here's a Reddit I did
https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch...k_first_impressioninfo_hoco_grey_band_on_sgs/

Months later I'd say it's a bit too heavy for summer. Probably will wear it more in winter. That said I prefer the look of the five bead look but I have no idea about the build quality. Which as I said before is absolutely top notch with the three bead.

I'm waiting for a black link Hoco I bought on Ebay last Sat. (Est delivery, this past Thurs - Tues.) if's its not here by Tuesday I'll cancel it. Little disgusted, this seller claims he's in NJ, from the recent negative reviews this week, he's shipping some of his bands from China and apparently they are 100% junk. SMH!

Might look into the 3d Gen 1:1 link from Utica, NY Guy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281781132523

I just got my Midnight Blue, Orange & product(RED) sport strap through from AliExpress. They are perfect! A little 'softer' feeling than the OEM but you would really never know. For £6, I'm happy :)
Could you post your links to the sport bands you bought from alliexpress, find that site hard to navigate.

NVM; I'm stupid, you posted them on the last page. TY!

Dunno if i buy more, i have the gold sport, and bright flashy bands dont really work with it, but from seeing this picture, i think the leather loop will look nice. May look into a milanese loop or a stainless link, but the links seems to be really hit or miss, and it can get expensive since they cost from 50-100 dollars.

Maybe a brown leather one too would be nice with the gold

i just bought sports bands from amazon and ebay. the ebay one was $8 and comes with one size. amazon was $15 and came with two sizes. the ebay may be slightly better actually. both are so close its not wlrth buying apple bands.

lnkooo has the good leather loops flr $21-23 on ebay and the $8 sport bands. only 1/4 leather loops had a real issue but they all stuck out anbit, which you can fix by flexing ansmall bend in there, then they look lerfect and retain better..imfeel the leather loops i have fkr the price were worth it,

imbought two modern buckle knockoffs on abay thst are asful, i just bought two more hoco leather bands, traditional and stitched

i will take a pic of all my bands when they get here. i only have one oem, the one it came with. saved a fortune even fscglring in the two crap mkdern buckles

A seller on AliExpress sent me a photo of the double tour Hermes clone, I think the leather looks pretty good. Shame about the adapters, but they could be changed easily I expect.

The leather looks really nice, I think I may invest in the cuff!

EDIT: I just placed an order for the cuff :D

Cool, i ordered a Double tour Hermes clone as well from aliexpress, a brown one.
Hope it will suit me as a men, I am only seeing girls with it on google.

I bought a moko link bracelet from Amazon for $64 and I actually really like the light weight of the band because I forget that I even have the watch on. Also moko gives 18mo warranty. View attachment 591581

Really nice, and a damn good price.
Can you tell me which one this is?

Is it this version...the clasp?

Or this clasp?
1:1, out of stock until the 30th)

Heck with it, I picked up the Space Gray link. On sale plus I had a GC - they had 10 left when I ordered (now down to 7!)
I'll give it a shot :) This is band #5 I may have a serious problem:eek:.

Thanks! Those 1:1s are in extreme high demand, rarely see any in stock at the time of checkout. The price changes, that drives me nuts. I did buy one band back in early June before my watch arrived, the price dropped $10 bucks a day later. Seller wouldn't refund me (I thought I'd try) but gave me a free watch face protector, oh well.

It's not completely 1:1 the clasp is and design of the links but not the push button removal of the links. The links have to be removed with a small pin which they supply and you could see side holes but you barely see them. My friend thought I had the original link bracelet.

Well, have to say thanks to all the input in this thread. I bought my Apple Watch Sport in May and always wanted to get a Milanese Loop. The UK Apple price for it is £129, but seeing as I'm heading out to the US next month, I was gonna treat myself while there and get it a bit cheaper (closer to £100 after tax and conversion back to GBP). Well then I came across this thread and that got me started.

Did a bit of research throught he posts and decided on a Milanese Loop Clone on eBay from (I assume the UK version of lnkoo888) lnkoo999, selling for £16.99 free P&P. It arrived last Thursday and I've been wearing it since to test out the strength of the fixings and magnet. So far it's holding up really well with nothing to really worry me.

Anyway, I'm very impressed with the build quality and seeing as I tried on the Milanese in the Apple store for my tryon session, it's seems exactly the same.

Check out the photo's below.

Hello,

I need you help.

I am looking for a link bracelet.

I bought a link band 3rd gen already but I have to return it because it was too loose .

I was able to remove 8 links, while I need to take out 10 links to suit ma tiny wrist.

I got 150mm circumference, so I have to reduced the length of a bracelet to 130mm .

So please, could you recommend me a link band which suit a 150mm wrist please ?
Or those who one 1rd gen link band,
could you please check if after removing all removable links the band will be 130mm length?

Thanks

Do you have the 42 MM watch? I have the 38 MM and I have an actual Apple Link bracelet - it's suppose to fit 135 MM wrist (my wrist is 127 MM) so even after removing all 8 links I still had to pay a jeweler 90 bucks to remove another 2 links so it stays in place and doesn't lock. I think most of the clone bracelets are trying to match Apple specs - check Apple's site but I think the smallest a 42 MM watch can be is 140MM by removing the links. You can take any link band to a jeweler to have them remove the extra links but it's costly (they had to figure out how the links were held in place to know how to remove them.). However it can be done. Good luck!

Cheers,
B

I have the 38mm watch. It's frustrating, I just need to remove 2 more links :(
Yes I think all 2nd and 3rd Gen link band do have almost the same total length. That's why I think the 1st gen may be an option.
The original one is too expensive for me, it cost more than my watch (I have a sport version)

That grayish color is the same as Apple's "black". I've got one like that and went in and compared it to apple's and the color was spot on.

I've looked into this because I have a tiny wrist as well (thinner than yours). The clones only allow 8 links to be removed. The Apple one allows 12 links to be removed! The only clone I found that would fit me is the 4th gen real 1:1 clone, with hand-removable links (no tool needed). They cost about $180 USD now, but they have 12 removable links just like Apple ones, as least as shown in the real product shots. Good luck and let us know your findings!
