Zero risk using that site. There is money back policy in place

do aliexpress pay return P&P?

just had to send an ebay 'milanese loop' back to China at a cost of £3.15 but I am assured by seller I will get this back.

Also I notice my two aliexpress purchases being in $ my bank have charged a £00.38p currency exchange fee.

If I had a different account there would have been an additional £1.00 on top of the £00.38p

just saying, just saying!

ps
also my ebay & amazon purchases (dispatch within UK) have arrived within 48 hours verses 3 weeks plus with aliexpress China to UK.
Plus I need to keep sn eye on the cost being under £15.00 with aliexpress otherwise I believe I pay VAT on the item & (possible import duty).

They do not but that's why you file claim and try to work with buyer.

After reading your post twice I now see your point! You could always disputes with CC company?

No dispute with bank its just their policy if you buy in $ its fair enough.

I think based on that (P&P not automatically paid, my Chinese is not the best!!, plus bank charges & possible VAT & duty)
my two aliexpress purchases _may_ be my last.....when I eventually receive them!

Why are they so sloooooow to dispatch? do they need to make the item!!

i just ordered stuff some ali and was quoted 3 weeks to get the item. it came in 11 days including weekends. if USPS wasn't so slow it would have been here in 7 days, it literally sat in chicago for 3 days.

So far I bought 70+ items on Aliexpress over the last 2 years. Going from Apple watch bands over clothing and bracelets and toys.

One time the order did not arrive and I got refunded. And one time there was a quality issue with a piece of clothing which I was able to fix myself and got a partial refund.

Prices are always very good. Be sure to read the reviews to check if quality is ok.

Conclusion:
up until now I am very happy with my Aliexpress purchases. Only down side is delivery time which varies from 7 days to 60 days...

I must say your colour choice is _very_ impressive

I can't find the silicone straps from the seller on the link you provided

Just as a matter of interest, which colour did you buy your watch with? also if you had to pick just one strap which one would it be?

ps
I would never change strap over a solid surface, I have experience of what a smashed screen apple watch looks like, after dropping my watch, not good!

pps
I've got a Royal Blue on order too

I started with space grey sport, then went up to stainless steel, now debating on going up to space black stainless steel..

My bands are from 3 different vendors. Honestly I like yellow the most on stainless steel, orange is a close second followed by red.

On the black stainless they all look amazing.

Sold it. Plan to get another.

My collection so far (without photos though) for 42mm Space grey:

Watch Straps:

Black OEM
Milanese loop £14.55 eBay (China)*
Black leather £18.99 eBay UK
Dark Blue £4.58 eBay (China)
Red £9.87 eBay (China)
'Kaleidoscope' £16.93 eBay (China)
Dark Grey £4.58 eBay (China)
Milanese loop £19.99 eBay UK

Leather Choc £13.62 aliexpress
Dark Blue leather £12.81 aliexpress

*returned for refund as faulty.

I think I'm banning myself from anymore orders its starting to get silly!

So far I favour my Black leather http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/301647821184 but loads still to arrive, madness!

Total £101.37 for eight non-OEM or ave £12.67 inc P&P

Hi

The second one, first sent back to China (ebay UK) but this time purchase from within UK (Sheffield):

http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/321846577694

If you can hold off till Tuesday I can give you more info.

Cheers
yeah I'm just after info more than anything to make a decision, curious to know if it is like apple's where clasp stays in the loop or whether it slips through which could be a deal breaker

I think the strength of the magnet should be okay, but the are other variables as you say it needs testing.
