Other Notch versus Pill+Hole

This is my gripe. The sliver of screen above a hole is useless and I think it looks ugly AF. At least in the renders I've seen. I'm just surprised that Apple is removing something that identifies their product and copying an android design. I guess it'll make the phone blend in with other phones out there but I don't think that's good for marketing.

I don't think there are many phones with an "i" shaped cutout so that "recognizability" isn't lost just yet.

I’m not sure. I know the camera hole and notch is the fastest way I can tell the difference between a modern iPhone and an android phone. I don’t see a different shaped hole being that obvious but who knows we’ll see. The renders don’t mean anything because the actual device could look different. I’m hoping they stick with a notch but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen
