Tempered Glass Screens are poor at the mo, however i used Samsungs own film Screen Protector for the note 7 which fits perfectly and does not interfere with the case so that will do for now

This is the one I'm currently playing, but the publisher, Artifex Mundi, has more games with similar gameplay with different storylines. This one isn't as robust as I remember King's Quest being, because it's very linear and a wrong choice won't have you falling off a cliff or give alternative routes to a series of different endings depending on which choice you made at a pivotal moment. But having dialogue scenes and logic puzzles and hidden objects to find is similar. My fifty year old eyes have a little trouble with some of the hidden objects, but fortunately there's a partner on the journey who will provide hints when I really can't see.

I'm just not able to play fast action first person shooters anymore. Decades of clutching game controllers have wrecked my joints for that. This is more my style of game. It is sharpening up my brain, too.

This particular title doesn't appear to be available on the Apple App Store but that publisher has similar games on the App Store.

I don't quite know what I'm doing yet but I'm getting there. :D

I can't wait to see my engineer nephew again. He has a Galaxy S7 from work and knew I was curious about it, but he thought his Auntie would never use anything but an iPhone. He's going to be so surprised! :D

The great thing with samsung phones having developed on them for years is they are virtually indestructible software wise. Nothing a swift opening of Odin wont resolve so never be wary of trying.

Also when ya feel like it take a view on xda for note 7 and you will find threads where people have exported their package disable profile settings. Find one thats stable and just import it into your phone and the hard work is done.

None that I can honestly recommend at this time...tried a few and they all suck, one way or another!

You going naked? I tried, but I just can't do a screen protector. I've got a skinomi matteskin on the back and sides, but I'm tempting fate and the screen is completely naked. I've even got a skinomi clear skin in a drawer, but I can't bring myself to install it.

The latest one is the Skinomi matte and hate it! .. While it's not as bad as some of the others (ZAGG sucked big time) as far as user experience, the edges started peeling off on day 2 ( with Spigen case : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GIUIC9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) so I'm just about ready to pull the damn thing off !

Next up : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KFQKIJ6?psc=1

And, maybe, will try this too : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I41VO2O?psc=1

Also waiting on the Samsung OEM protector.

Considering switching to the Samsung S-view case w/o a screen protector (relying on the s-view case) for the time being.

Money wasted so far on screen protectors : $105 :(

Better to ask 2 months later. In my experience I've always loved Samsung devices within the first few weeks, but then I start to long for iOS as time goes on.

Yah I put the matteskin on my wife's Note 7, it's AWFUL, please don't anyone buy it. The matteskin for the back and sides is awesome though, it's just the screen one that's terrible, it brought me back to the screen protectors of 2012.

That's probably wise. It took me about 2 months to realize my iPhone 6Plus was "lemon scented". ;) It didn't have any obvious faults and it did its job, it just didn't work well, but my 6S Plus was a dramatic difference despite running the same set of apps.

I've heard that Samsungs can slow down or develop problems over time, though the more recent generations seem improved. Only time will tell. I intend to give this a fair chance.

I find I prefer Android/Touchwiz on my Samsung (for now) over iOS on my 6S Plus. But I need much more time with it to determine if I would trust it to be my only phone and daily driver. Not that it would actually get the chance to be my only phone and daily driver for the same reason my 6S Plus could not...it is too big for that. I'm not really auditioning it for that job. It's filling my unique little phablet niche.

I personally think it depends on the user. I still have a Note 2 never root or installed custom roms on. I use it as a backup, mostly when I play sports with my boys or go to the beach. It's still as smooth as the day I bought it with every app that I have on my main device.

So far it's going OK. I'm not blown away by Android as some people claim it's such a much more advanced OS. I sorely miss my iPhone 6S plus battery life :( ..... But other than that the Note 7 is a great phone and the screen looks amazing. One thing though I see now why apple won't license imessage. Sms/MMS is a total cluster**k on android. I will definitely be keeping the Note 7 until next years iPhone but I don't think I'm long for Android

Give it time...you might be surprised. It can take even a few months to settle in and really explore the OS. I remember how shell shocked I was when I first switched to a Galaxy Nexus years ago. It wasn't until I spend a good 6-8 months using an HTC M7 later that year where I really saw how Android can shine.

That being said, there are still many things I like better about iOS, even if it suffers from some 'inadequacies'. Of course, everyone has different preferences.

If you stay a whole year on Android, I doubt you'll be leaving. Even if you do get another iPhone.

Really enjoying right now. Performance has been fine though i do see some lag here and there. The design though is beautiful, it really does look like a super modern phone and makes my 6s plus look a little dated but i still love it. I do wish it had a metal back instead of glass, I already have a scratch along the back, though it's not deep you can see it at the right angle. No scratches on the front so far *knocks on wood* I also wish it was true black and not have that glimmer, it looks like they were going for metallic black look.

My plan is to keep mine for a year and if Apple finally steps it back up, then I will come back, but for now I am loving the Note 7 and the Gear S2 watch, I am going to sell my Apple Watch and bands this weekend.

Definitely enjoying the Note7. Screen & Hardware sets it apart from other competitors... trying to get more accustomed to using the S-Pen given that iPhone never really had a comparable stylus.

But I'm waiting to see what Apple announces next week to see if I get compelled to go back... I know that the camera will be top notch with Dual Camera, just kind of skeptical with the hardware since no huge design changes will be made. But I know I won't be staying with the Note7 for too long. That Anniversary iPhone will be surely bring me back.

I assume you are not using a case? I haven't gotten a case for mine just yet... hard to cover up such a device :)

See thats the issue. People are being told to stay with it. Why should it take that long to get used to it. OP use what you want and like.

I gave the note 7 a chance as well but I dont have time or patience to play around with it and figure out what works best. Why do i need 2 damn days to set it up. A phone should work for me not the other way around and I should not need a year to love it...

I have been using Android exclusively now for about 8 months (with a little Windows phone thrown in!) and I am still learning ways I can customise information my phone gives me in the most productive / nice looking way possible.

I completely appreciate that some people don't want that and they just want something that they're familiar with, but for me it wins over picking up and iPhone and using it the same way I did in 2008 when I first got one...

No shade, I will prob still want to buy the iPhone 7 and still love their devices, but I guess all people are saying is if you want to try Android then it takes a little longer than iOS does to settle in as there are so many ways you can use it for you.
I think that trumps the one lone way that Apple let you go about using iPhone. Choice is good! My personal opinion, of course.

Update on m ine, I factory reset and also stopped using Nova and it's been nothing but smooth since then. I'm not sure why I had so many issues previously, maybe because I restored a backup instead of a fresh install. I'm definitely eyeing the iPhone 7, but only because I can and I have the addiction, but I can already see some things I will heavily miss. The physical size of the Note 7 is amazing considering the screen on it and having a stylus, I can't express just how amazing this is and it would be a major bummer to switch back to a clunky 7 plus. Man, who would have ever thought we would refer to an Apple product as clunky?! The always on screen is awesome as well and very very useful, I hope they expand on it and let us see notifications and such. Messaging is great, but that's because I use Verizon messenger which I think it miles ahead of most other apps, yeah I know it's Verizon, but it's actually a very nice app. I would also miss things like Google Voice integration and of course real widgets. Can't forget about wireless charging either, I love that.

So.... predictions based on the past. I'll get the iPhone 7, use it on and off for a couple of months and realize iphones are still inferior and sell it on swappa for a loss, then come here and start a thread complaining about it. We'll see, I still have hope that Apple will surprise us all with some game changing feature which hasn't been leaked yet.

Half the battle is recognition and diagnoses...but there is no treatment yet for our phone addiction.....

Since 8/18, I have had my Note 7. At first, it was a little buggy. However, after setting it up, it works great.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I love the spen.

As for the software slowing down, after time, this is bs. For the past 3 years, I have had the Note 3 and the Note 5 and both ran extremely well throughout. Yes, my original Note 1 slowed down but it took a long time. Things have definitely changed, for the better.
