Sorry, I'm not into computer gaming and I don't know Valve and Steam.

I understood that is some website that you can purchase games directly from the internet like iTunes, what I didn't understand is: are they going to convert PC games to MAC? Or is there a kind of software/virtual machine that allows that? Any explanation please?

It's been explained an awful lot here already. Steam is iTunes for games.

I agree with Dagless, there are posts throughout this thread that explain more about what Steam is and what they are doing with Valve games coming to Mac as native ports using OpenGL.

I own a pc and I have it right next to my Mac (God forbid), I just use that for windows but I still have windows XP installed on my iMac just incase. So I won't be un installing windows anytime soon.

It's pretty sweet actually, 3.2Ghz Pentium D, 1Gb RAM, ATI Radeon X600, 80Gb, 2x120Gb SATA HDDs. It sounds like a jet getting ready to take off though :rolleyes:
