Well I couldn’t take it anymore. I just got my XS Max Space Gray 512 yesterday. But I kept watching the series 4 videos and I, as much as I tried, gave in to my desires and just ordered a SS LTE 44mm Apple Watch. Anyone else late to the party? One month delivery. Will it come sooner? I can’t wait!

That’s what my delivery date was for a Gold SS. Checked my Apple Store app and a local store had what I wanted in stock. So I just picked it up in person, no wait. The order times are crazy.

You can order for in store pickup if available. istocknow shows inventory in stores.

I was going to buy a watch 4 as well and the Apple online store showed it was unavailable for pickup from my local apple store. I decided to go into the store anyway, and they seemed to have it in stock.

Well that gives me some hope! My Apple Store is very close to my home so I might just drop in every day as I pass by on my commute. All I need is the SS 44mm with the white sports band. Shouldn’t be too hard to find...right?...

Same situation, did not pre-ordered on 14.9., tried to find one in store for walk-in purchase. No stores got any availabe here, no luck.

Ordered directly at Apple and got deliver date 22 - 29 october.

NA is definitly blessed with walk-in availbility, even few days after launch.

Same here - ordered today for my Mom. My husband & I got ours on launch day through pre-order & now I want to get one for my mother. I like that it has the fall monitoring. I'm also hoping for a way sooner ship date but will keep checking store stock, just in case.

Welcome! I actually didn’t plan on getting a series 4 this year but, after reading all the reviews and watching the videos, everyone seems to be raving about how awesome it is. I caved to the pressure! I’m giving my series 3 to my son so at least that makes me feel better since I just got it last year around this time. I’m also going to check my local store daily but we’ll see how that works out. Good luck!

Waiting up to 4 weeks directly from Apple is pretty long.

Welcome to the misery loves company thread! I’m hoping that Apple ships sooner. Last year I bought my series 3 watch on 9/28 and it delivered on 10/17 so just under 3 weeks. In the meantime I’m checking my local store every day just in case. Good luck!

Any idea the time they update inventory. Last year they did in the middle of the night and by 6 am(est) you could order an iPhone X for I store pickup.

Tampa international Plaza store sold out every day all weekend as far as istocknow lists.
They started with 6 or 7 watches when they opened today. Down to 3 now.

I went into the Brandon store yesterday and really like the black SS(I got a 44mm AL SG for launch day and debated for 20min SBSS model even had it in my cart...stupid me)

They told me online would update stock at 8am but the guy was really new and it was painful to watch him check in-store inventory to see if they had any SS models...so I was not sure he was correct.

I guess apple underestimated SS demand??

I wonder how Apple decides who gets what version of a product. Seems like some cities get more SS(not places I would expect like NY etc)
