Indeed. Mine has gone even weirder now, it stops and starts to fetch automatically even more frequently now, but most of the time it refuses. And no response to the bug report either... This needs to be fixed ASAP, I'm missing a lot of important mails..

Only way I know I have an email in my trusty iPhone 6S+. I got no response to my bug report either. This am woke to "mail last checked at 8:34 yesterday.

Same here, keeping my iPhone close is the only way to ensure I recive mails sent the past 15 min. The iPad actually fetched new mails during the night, but that was after I had followed the troubleshooting steps right before I went to sleep. I bet it won't have fetched when I get home either.. Not even SMS sync correctly anymore, they're always late or doesn't sync with my phone which makes it think they're new and unread while they're not... iMessage is late as hell or doesn't sync for a good while.

This upgrade has been a plain joke on my end:mad:

as said in NA's post, my 'fetch' option wasn't/isn't perfect, especially after an os update, but for whatever reason it irons itself out after a week or 2. runs sweet now. instant emails at all times.

Happy to hear! Unfortently I can't say the same... I'm trying to work with the engineers to get this fixed. Did they also respond to yours @Newtons Apple?

I guess I am still waiting on that "week or 2" as both of my 9.7 iPPro units do not fetch mail except manually. No reply to either of my bug reports.

Guess I will be waiting on the next update but this effects so few I doubt it will fix it. I depend on my iPhone to alert me to mail.

One thing I've noticed is that when I use the iPad, it doesn't fetch every 15 min. Best case once an hour, and my old Air did the same.. Bug or just expected behaviour?

Mine does not seem to ever fetch unless I manually check for mail. I am at loss for why it is happening but hoping another update will fix it. I do have my doubts it will as so few are affected with this problem.

Very strange BOTH my 9.7 do this and it does not matter if I am at hopme, office or other WiFi networks. I have deleted and restarted my email accounts over and over.

I can also confirm that switching networks doesn't help. Since I did my weekly reboot last sunday night, it's been fetching ok-ish. But I bet it'll stop again any time now...

My recommendation is to use Outlook as your main email app, works perfectly and it connects to most major cloud services especially if you do lots of attachments.

Does it include Gmail? Only info I could find was that you'd need to configure the IMAP account separately(Not a big deal, Google has instructions). If it goes so far I want to move away from the stock mail app, I think I'll get the official Gmail app instead;)

We'll see. Just saw that the Gmail app doesn't support multiple accounts.. I'm going to work with the engineers(although they're really slow at answering) and see what happends after that.

Hello again everyone!

I've now sent the logs to Apple and I expect a answer either tonight, tomorrow or next week(They're really busy and can take time). Hopefully we'll have an answer soon!

Both my 9.7 Pro are still not automatically getting mail every 15 minutes. Still have to do it manually. My iPhone works perfectly. Let me know if you come up with an answer.

I will!
Mine has been acting pretty weird today... Luckily it all got logged so I hope they'll see what's wrong and get it fixed! I had a look in the logs myself and I could see a pretty interesting method that collected how many seconds there was between every fetch..

+1 to keeping us updated. I've had the same problem for...years on all my iOS devices. Normal gmail account that I've removed and added a bunch. It just won't fetch at the schedule I set in the settings.

The engineers haven't responded yet, I guess it's quite busy.. Did the 9.3.2 update help anyone? I'm not going to install it after reading so many people who had their iPP 9.7" bricked.. I bet Apple'll pull the update for us and re-release it in the week.
