I’ve been using my Fermata stand to hold my AirPods Max. It has a micro USB charger for the Beats Studio3 charging, but it has a powered USBA port underneath it that I plugged a lightening cable into so it also charges the AirPods Max. I got it on clearance too when 12south was getting rid of their inventory I guess. Works great!

Yeah I’m not sure why they discontinued it and I can’t seem to find anyone else selling it, but I imagine it’s near perfect for the AirPods Max especially if they revive it with a built-in lightning cable. Would love a pic if you find the time.

Here you go, three pictures:

Plus the picture album of the three pictures

I moved the stand from behind my iMac 27" to take the photos.

I was thinking of picking this one up. I like the simplicity of it but was worried about the metal on the headband. Do you guys think it will damage it?
Probably will not damage it. Just hope you won’t make the mistake and accident puncture the top with it. I ordered this one.

That looks pretty cool, but is a bit big looking for my desktop. What do you mean by puncturing the top?

I get it tomorrow so, I’ll have to upload the pics.

What I mean is, if u happen to fall short of placing directly on the stem, you could possibly puncture the mesh.

This is interesting, I like the look of it, but would honestly not even need the charging, they should just make one of these without as well.

If you do not want to use the charging, you can just not use the little connector and it should still be working.

There is also a new Kickstarter project for a charging stand designed just for the AirPods Max. Looks good and comes in the same colors as the AirPods Max. And it charges wirelessly. What I like the most is the fact that it doesn't have the headphones rest on the headband mesh, something I'm concerned about if they are sitting on the stand a lot.

This looks AMAZING! I just may back this thing.

Yes. That’s the only think I hate about it.
my big ass head requires the APMs to be fully extended lol. If thats how mine is setup i should be able to set in bra case and charge on the ZERO stand right (without any adjustments)?

+1 for the amazon stand already mentioned earlier. It was cheap,it looks good, and puts minimal pressure on the headband.

I found this silicone headset stand. It doesn't include a lightning connector, there is just a hole in the stand and requires that you use the Apple lightning connector that you already have. However that is a good thing because you can then use a magnetic connector with it such as this if you have USB-C or this if you still have the older USB-A ports and get a similar type of result as the Max Stand.

I've ordered both the Max Stand from KickStarter and the silicone stand on eBay. However, the stand from eBay is not due to arrive until April and the Max Stand probably not until many months after that.

If the Max Stand doesn't get fully funded, I hope they continue and produce a product similar to the one sold on eBay. They can keep their same form factor, I'm not sure whether I'd prefer silicone or plastic, they can decide which is better, but if they switched to silicone then production would be much simpler since they would have only one material and no electronics or assembly required. They could outsource the cables from a company like one of the ones mentioned above.

wonder if the magnetic connectors affect power management in any way
