I think the Macbook Pro will get an update tomorrow.

Since the last 2 months... I think I've heard that... a few million times... if not tomorrow, then the day after tomorrow... and after... and after... lol. If it does happen, cool. If not, than another reason for me to laugh here again.
And can't "we" ("we" --> don't include me) put all the complaints in a single thread only ?
Thousands of threads like this lol...
i know, i know... the ones complaining will start a war with me saying "if you're not waiting then wtf you're doing in my thread"... But i'm not being rude, just posting my opinion...
And PLEASE, for god sakes, if an update doesn't come tomorrow please don't make a billion million new threads about "who thinks I should wait till next week for merom to be out?".
This will be an endless cicle.
I will be mostly happy when the updated laptops come not because of the updates itself... but because the forums will be much more productive

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting. Now I don';t need!!!!!!!!!!! a MBP yet untill January. Being that this would be my first mac i'd like to get more used to the interface than i am now.

I might just buy a macbook this week.

LoL somewhat true...
Not counting that, at least of what I've heard of, Santa Rosa has much more benefits than Merom has... Especially because of battery power...
It would be hilarious if Apple released Merom and then Santa Rosa 1 month later... It has done something similar last year, didn't it? Dunno if it was with an iMac or Laptop...
But at least we will have some peace in the first few weeks after Merom is out
