MY CTO macbook pro has shippped!!! Ordered on Jan 10th :) Shoudl be here soon boys and girls!!!
 
Yes, please post pictures! I want to see what is in store for me when I go purchase one...that is if there are no nightmares with the computer!
 
The new baby is in the mail!!!!! Just wondering how 2-day shipping means that a laptop shipped on the 18th won't be delivered until the 23rd?

Monday is a Holiday, but that still seems off by a day.
 
FedEx is open on Monday and mine is to ship Monday Morning according to Apple! I just talked to them and they said that it would be on a truck Monday and in my hands by Thursday!
 
Myne is coming on the 22nd. Maybe if apple was able to get the computers to fedex before the cutoff it could of be here a day or two earlier.
 
My CTO order has shipped as well :) a MBP upgraded to the 2.0ghz by default with a 7200rpm hard drive... stock config otherwise (I'm adding another gig of ram myself). Got to FedEx after the cutoff, but says it should be here on the 22nd.

I'm going to take pictures of the unpacking process as well, but I'm going to see about adding a slight twist to mine... hope I can get it to work out right, it'll be cool if so. Can't give details :cool:
 
i was at the san jose store yesterday and no macbooks yet.i am hoping to get one at the store in the next few weeks but does anyone know if you can add your own RAM easily or should I custom order it online?

Notebooks tend to be easy to add ram just line it up and clip it down. Desktops you have to jam it in.
 
Mine was shipped on the 18th as well but past cutoff time. Fedex says it will arrive Feb 22 but I'm leaving for a week-long conference on Monday! This is going to drive me crazy as I won't be able to play with my new toy until Friday night!!!

man, that's gonna suck. I'm in college but have it being shipped home for me. Luckily since I'm less than an hour from home, it's not too bad... although I don't have my car on campus with me, I'm in the process of working something out so I can get it the day it arrives (hopefully Wednesday as it says.... or maybe Tuesday since FedEx has always been 1 day early with other deliveries?)
