Official MY MACBOOK PRO HAS SHIPPED Thread:D

I got a strange email from apple. The USPREPAID email. All it included was a price for the shipping charges.... Seems a bit odd to me. Also, the hold on my CC has disapeared... Anyone have a suggestion?

Hard to say. Just wait and see. I'm sure Apple will get it right. Sometimes the hold disappears right before the real charge.

I was in a similar situation yesterday.... I received the USPREPAID email with just the shipping charge, but in my case, the hold on my credit card was still there for the full amount of the MBP (it's been there for almost a week now). Then finally this morning I got another USPREPAID email for the cost of the MBP itself, as well as another email saying it had shipped.

Not sure if it's indicative of it shipping soon, but since it seems like everyone else's has, I'd say it's a good chance.
 
Tracking shows my MBP jsu arrived in alaska. :D lookin good for a quick delivery!!!
 
Man I ordered on the 22nd of Jan, and they didnt receive my payment for a while because my CC has a limit of 1k.

Therefore I had to do a cashiers check which took an extra week for them to process my order.

If I got it processed on the 22nd, im sure it would be here sooner than Mar 15th!

thanks elbirth and everyone else that replied. I will wait until Monday afternoon to see what happens. I am sure I am in good shape. Atleast I hope so :D
 
I have good news for UK Mac addicts...

I just got my "Order dispatched" mail incl. a delivery reference number.

My estimated shipping date was the 28.02. with a delivery date of 10.03.
Now my delivery date is on or before 01.03.

Nice email to start the day with :)

Nice, im guessing its a 2 gig? anyone had a 1.83 ship yet?

Just look at the good in my posts: I was given following shipping dates: 15.02., 28.02., 15.03. and finally 28.02....
and Apple actually shipped it today, 19.02., so 9 days before the estimated shipping date.

I already looked at the good in your posts.
Just the fact that they started shipping is great and I have a
Feb. 28th ship date as well. I am pretty confident that it will
ship early. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday... :D
But I am nonetheless really impatient, checking my order status
every 10 minutes etc... :rolleyes:
 
Mine just started showing Shipped - Feb 19, 2006 via FEDERAL EXPRESS a few hours ago. I placed my order Jan 10, 2006 at 01:59 PM PST for:

MBPRO 15/2.0 CTO
2.0GHz Intel Core Duo/256MB
1GB 667 DDR2- 1 SO-DIMM
100GB Serial ATA Drive@7200rpm

I hope everyone gets theirs soon!
 
Mine shipped yesterday but according to FedEx its still in China. Anyone know how long it takes for the notebook to get from Alaska to Canada with FedEx?
 
I'm extremely jealous of all you people whose laptops are in alaska already.... my tracking page hasn't updated in 24 hours, and still says that it missed the cutoff and is in shanghai!

Dammit... I ordered on 1/12, the same 7200-RPM-drive-but-otherwise-stock-2.0 model that others have seen shipped.

No shipping notification, no charge to the card yet.
 
Shipped!

Ordered 1.83 now 2.0 on Jan 12th at 1:54pm and just got a tracking number. Not trackable on FedEx's site yet. Does this mean I can hope for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday (I payed for 2 day just in case it helps).

Ordered a 1,83GHZ (now a 2,0GHZ )CTO 7200RPM HD on January 11th.

But the tracking info is really confusing. Maybe someone can help me.

Seems to me as I've got two different packages. One of them (the Mighty Mouse and the Apple Keyboard) seem to be in the Netherlands already and for the Macbook Pro there seems to be no information available at the moment ???

Where can I track Flexlogistics packages?
This is too confusing..

But I am really happy nonetheless!! :D
