Only had my 2.8 iMac for a couple of days so far, but not a single freeze or any corruption here. Running Leopard.

No problems at all with my machine running Tiger or Leopard. :D

I have never had a computer with fewer problems. 100% satisfied with my purchase.

No freezes here.

But I have gone through 2 24" iMac's due to yellow screen gradient. Waiting for my third. And I do have hope because I have seen 1 24" with a good screen and even no freezes also

What's this "Better ATI 2600 Pro" in your sig? The iMac's come with HD 2600's, right?

Mine is good as far as i know... I just installed the 4gb of ram and running it through it's paces. So far no issues. :)

2.4ghz 24" with no problems under leopard or tiger, i think what you are witnessing is a vocal minority here on the forums.

No freezes here relating to the oft mentioned issues, sometimes XP hangs when I'm running Team Fortress 2 and forget that the alt & windows key are reversed on the keyboard

Smooth sailing otherwise.

I am loving all these posts about not freezing.

Makes me have much more faith that I will get a good one the 2nd time around.

2.8Ghz 24" iMac

I've had a couple of freezes since August, but not the same symptoms as the video-card related ones. I just put the video card through its paces with photoshop, and no freezes. I do tend to abuse my Mac though (run lots of things at once, try out new software that may or may not have bugs, etc.) so I'm not surprised at the occasional freeze. :)

Going on 3 months with my 24" aluminum iMac and no freezing problems, no gradients, no backlight bleed, no yellow tint on white backgrounds and fortunately no dead/stuck pixels.

I have no major complaints thus far.

2.8GHz 24" model here, upgraded to 4GB RAM myself.

No problems with freezing at all. This is the second 2.8GHz 24" unit I've had, and neither of them have had any problems with freezing.

The first one was replaced due to poor screen uniformity, however.

24" 2.8Ghz, with self added OWC 4GB RAM.

No machine wide freezes.. I have had iPhoto go into the spinning beach ball (not responding) - forcing me to quit the app manually.. Not sure if its because I have over 23K photos..
