When I called Apple this morning they were adamant preorders would go live at 1pm (I’m in the UK).

When I messaged them yesterday afternoon they were pretty firm that it would be at 12 noon Pacific Time. (8pm BST).

i can checkout 256GB silver 12.9. I just don’t want a cellular iPad.

They sold out really fast. When I checked a couple of the lower storage capacity models were able to be added to the cart.
