One Touch Jailbreak for 1.1.1

MAKE SURE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. You are an unmoddified 1.1.1
2. You do not have iTunes open
3. You have the iJailbreak FOLDER installed in your Applications folder (and it has a "resources" folder inside it
4. You run the Safari crash without unplugging and plugging in the iPhone (leave it plugged in the whole time)
5. You do not do anything else with the phone after it crashes
6. And maybe as an extra step, you restart the phone before you start all of this.

Works perfectly but I cant get Summerboard to work or Uninstall. I tried to update it and it says its "not compatabile..." and when I try to uninstall Summerboard it says "error during uninstall script execution". Any idea's?

Don't install the one off installer. If you do uninstall it and install BSD/SSH on the phone.

Shows you how to install the alpha for 1.1.1 over SSH. I did it, very easy, and summerboard works perfect on 1.1.1.

Well, after 2 restores (one because i didnt follow directions right, the second because i accidentally hid customize and installer without a finder or dock) i am pleased to say this works great, customize went a little screwy on me the first few times i opened it but then it works fine!

No, this doesn't unlock the phone - it only "jailbreaks" it, which is a separate thing that allows third-party apps to be placed on the phone and executed.

I have hacked 1.0.2 ( not unlocked) with AppTapp. How do i get clean 1.1.1 from here? Just restore first on iTunes, and upgrade to 1.1.1?

All you need to do is upgrade to 1.1.1 in iTunes and then run iJailbreak.

Has anyone tried to install this and then unlock with the 1.1.1 compatible anySIM? This looks a lot easier than the iNdependence jailbreak method.

I cant get this to work for me. I get to the restart part and then my itunes comes on and it says that I dont have iphuc in the right place (which it is).

Any ideas?

Try force quitting iTunes each time it opens until you have completed the jailbreak process. I believe I needed to force quit iTunes 3 times. Once you have completed all of the steps, iTunes should recognize your phone without any errors.

HELP!

I don't know what I've done but now I have no system sounds! Nothing! And I can't hear anything out of the phone. If I want to make a call I can only do it with the speaker phone. Is my only option Restoring? If I Restore do I have to jailbreak all over again? Thanks! I know everything about Nokias and nothing about the iPhone.

Script Error?

I seem to get an AppleScript Error when running this.

Basically, it can't find rdisks0s1.dmg in the iphonefs folder. I'm doing all the steps as written and have everything in the correct place.

Any ideas?
