Problem solved.

I'm predicting that the iPad would be classified under "iPod and iTunes" becuase it's not a Mac/iPhone.

They'll probably remove 'Downloads', just like they removed 'iCards' much to my dismay… *cry*

they change the apple bar.

all of you going crazy about where they where going to put the word ipad on apple. all they did was take the spare room from the other names and put it there. just if anyone wanted to know

also itunes is on its own

apple.com is now updated with the word ipad in the bar. It also has now expended the features section within ipad to show a a number of apps and how they look with the new designs

Where is "iPad" going to fit in on the Apple.com menu bar? It's already 980px in width, which about as big as it can get before you start ruining the experience for the many people limited to a 1024x768 resolution. And that is something that Apple will not do.

Will they make the other buttons smaller? Will the text on those buttons still be able to fit?

Will they have "iPad & iPhone"?

Will they replace another button?

ARE THERE ANY RUMOURS ABOUT THIS? WE NEED TO KNOW.

I was thinking about this today. I won't loose sleep over this issue, but the webmaster for Apple might... if SJ wants it up there soon... :)

It's already up there.

They don't need iTunes as a button, most people that use iTunes have an iPod, iPhone, or iPad (once released). iPad should be joined with iPod, the iPad is just an oversized iPod Touch with 3G as option.

whats kinda funny.. When they first switched the header to accommodate the ipad's button the poor QA guy missed something, or something got misdeployed because the roll overs were still the old style.. So you'd get the dark highlighting that covered 2 buttons half way.
