Won't be as good as the 5, it's the same battery size but a bigger AMOLED screen. Unless one plus does some crazy modification to oxygen for op5t.
It's not a bigger amoled screen. It's only taller because of 18:9 aspect ratio.

Which ultimately makes very little difference in actual usability as the increased height doesn't make the experience of using your phone better in any relevant way, just means more reaching when using it one-handed.

This could be one serious contender the Heawei phones, a bezel free design, high end latest processor, and possibly good cameras? Let’s see if they still use Sony sensors, the price is silly for what they offer.
Will be one very interesting device to compare to the iPhone X as it will literally cost less then half the X price!

INSANE at £499 for 8GB, yes 8GB and 128 GB
However and a MAJOR however it's oxygen OS, if this was Android One, it would be major running for 'Smartphone of the year'

Alas it's a toss up between X, P2 and P2 XL and dare I say it Note 8.

At least it doesn't have the Pixel display problems. It's on a Samsung oled panel.

I had a dream about getting the 5T last night. OPPO/OnePlus must have showed me a subliminal ad yesterday. Then they announced it officially today.
I'm not really interested in phones at that size. For same price, rather get the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact at Best Buy. I'm going back to the old days (circa 2010-2012) and wanting smaller phones again.
The XZ1C is just perfect for me in size. I can reach all four corners of the screen with my thumb and only 0.1" smaller display than the 4.7" iPhones but 7 mm shorter. Only the camera seems passable but does have microSD slot that the 5T lacks.
I will just wait for the XZ1C to drop to $350-$400. It's a boring design but I could care less. No glass back and easier to handle than a 4.7" iPhone and the X. Again, no phone is really worth over $400 to me.

But if I didn't just get the V30 I'd ABSOLUTELY get the OnePlus 5t

I am interested to see some picture samples. I might get the OPO5t...it looks like they improved the camera.
It really comes down to camera for me. I've liked what they do with their skin, or lack thereof, and the price is right for me. But I gotta have that good camera.
