"The OnePlus 6 will be OnePlus’ most impressive smartphone to date, featuring a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, according to CEO Carl Pei. The firm is also rumoured to be working on a cheaper variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage."

Not me either.
I don't know what it is about OnePlus that I can't get behind. I don't think it helps that their cameras are never up to par either. Compared to other flagships.

I know it's budget friendly, so you can't expect the earth and something has to give, but I'm all about a decent camera these days.

Once a company that used to make affordable high end flagship killers now they just follow the notch train and make the phone more fragile and expensive. Great job!

How does do not disturb work on the OP5T or OP5?

The physical slider / switch on the side of the phone t between sound, vibrate, and DND I think. And I think ita the standard Android DND. But it's been a year since I've used a OnePlus phone, so things might have changed

If it doesn’t have a programmable DND mode, I won’t buy it. I hated the alert slider on my old OP3.

Well, Oneplus always made flagship smartphones at a lower price than other brands. Considering now that Samsung and Apple sell 1000€ flagship phones, 519€ seams pretty low in comparison. In my opinion, oneplus never stood for cheap phones but for "cheaper" phones.

I'm assuming it does. But again, wait until it's announced :) But it may be similar to your OP3 unless Oxygen OS has changed. I never use programmable DND mode, I just used the slider and loved it!

I like the iPhone mute slider. I hated the OP3’s alert slider. Redditors say it works the same way on the OnePlus 5/5T. Looks like I may not buy the OP6.

Just a few small tweaks, nothing ground breaking. But every one of those tweaks is really useful. And OP phones come 'clean', there really isn't any bloat on them what so ever.

But you can get that with Moto too, right? So what are the tweaks that are selling points? I really think it will be hard for me not to have an auto DND mode on the OP6.

it sounds like it may have auto DND settings but just doesn't have the option (visibly) to change it or activate it. I saw this workaround using Nova Launcher and it's activities settings

YMMV on OP 6 but looks like it can be done.

I think that Nokia are going to be another big rival in the not too distant future, stock Android, great build quality and decent specs for not much money. Interesting to see what the new device is like from OnePlus as the Nokia X/X6 launches on the same day and looks like a great alternative from the leaked pics and specs.
