this phone or the iphone 11 at a discount in the fall?

i keep going back to the 2 years of OS support for a new phone and how i can buy the iphone 11 a year in and still get 4, maybe 5 years of support...as long as its actual support and not half-heartedly done

I agree Apple is king on updating older phones, but I rarely keep a phone one year, to maybe two at most. So like Google's Pixel line with 3 years of monthly updates, that's more than enough for me, heck even 24 months of solid updating is good enough.

I would say, right now, the OnePlus 8 Pro is probably the best Android phone currently in 2020, and the Note 20+ next month will be the new champ, but the 8 Pro is easily one of the best smartphones this year.
