Man, I'm confused reddit says the software sucks, can this phone last for 4 years?
I wouldn't base my opinion on Reddit posters. That's a bottom of the barrel source for info. There are some valid concerns with support for the phone if it breaks as OnePlus does not have the presence in the US that Samsung, Apple, and Google do. You can take Samsung phones into any ubreakifix store and have it repaired and my experience sending in a device to be repaired with Samsung has been great too.

BUT, the OP Open is an amazing device. I wasn't sold on the software at first because of my familiarity with OneUI on a foldable but after I got used to it I really like it. It is much closer to stock Google than anything else with some cues of iOS mixed in. It's blazing fast and has not stuttered at all on me and I have not noticed any bugs.

Reddit does suck for most discussions period this is a fact but I didn't know anyone who has a OnePlus device to ask.

Anyways my 8a is great a little underpowered and you can tell when you use it.

Great phone for daily use just a little underpowered and screen is t on that level of the 9 pro and so forth.

I'll passed on the last deal for 750 but maybe I should have kept it but if it comes back I'll jump on it.

Have a 12 that the wife uses. I would put it above my 15 ProMax (Apple) and really close to my S24 Ultra. A seriously great device.

OnePlus 13 launched in China only for now with global availability sometime later on. Why OnePlus are always so vague on the international availability of their phones I don’t know when they launch them in China I don’t know.

I had a play around with one in a store. The new 2.5D curved edges that all the new Chinese phones seem to be adopting looks very nice. Smooth when swiping from sides and bottom, plus it makes the screen content look like it's almost floating. Put on a case with a lip however and those curved edges might become annoying.

So OnePlus releases Android 15 way before Samsung will on the S24 etc. Interesting.
