Takes about three weeks for it to work.
That could be why cause I’m on a beta and betas are usually released every 1-2 weeks.

It must need 3 weeks for any charging habit. Ugh well this is a useless feature. What’s interesting is the charge to 80% limit only applies at night. If you charge in the day it will go beyond 80%. So it just stops it from staying at full overnight.
No, mine is all done and learnt. Last night I can see it sat at 80% all night until morning. It must need 3 weeks for any charging habit. Ugh well this is a useless feature.

Updates haven’t reset it.Since iOS 13 was released to the public, they have been releasing updates to where they can’t get enough time for Optimized Charing to learn the device’s usage.
My comment was based on you stating the optimized charging only works at night and not throughout the day. So which is it?No, mine is all done and learnt. Last night I can see it sat at 80% all night until morning.
In what way does it not work for you?
As in when you put it on the charger it should charge to 80% during the night, holding at 80% until last hour(s) then finish the charge to 100%.
I know. I mean, is it at 80% when you pick it up, not finishing the charge, or does it charge to 100% immediately?
I just checked and see the same is true about my iPhone X on a Mophie wireless charger. Cool! No, mine is all done and learnt. Last night I can see it sat at 80% all night until morning.
2-3 days? LOL what a joke. You must be using your phone only for texting and phone calling and even then i highly doubt your phone's battery lasts for 2-3 days on a single charge.Funnily enough, the battery life on my XR is so great that I charge the phone every two or three days so I don’t think optimised charging has had time to kick in, especially since I don’t charge at the same time of day.

Unplugged it on Friday at 7AM (100%), it’s Sunday noon now, 53%.
I never claimed heavy usage, but for me the fact that I can use the phone as much as I need or want to and not have to plug in all weekend is great. It’s not heavy usage by any means, but the standby times are great in iOS13, better than before.
With normal use (browsing, texting, calls, reading twitter, listening to music on AirPods, using Notes etc throughout the day) it was already a two-day phone on iOS12, and iOS13 has improved on that. This isn’t outlandish at all for the XR.
Your claims are absolutely absurd, the 11 Pro has a much better battery than your XR yet no one claims such bogus battery usage stats as you. The 11 pro doesn’t have a 2 day battery life, if it was unused in standby then it might be possible but if the phone is actually used then no way will you get through a day without having to charge period.
