Nice config. The 2-3g Fusions have 2X the SSD of the 1T's. Quite a bit more responsive. I'm curious why you didn't go up $100 for the i7 with a 2T Fusion?

I'm typing this on my iPhone or work Microsoft surface Pro 4.
I sold my mid 2013 MacBook Air last October thinking a new imac was gonna be announced

Well, all will soon be good. :apple:

Hey guys. I am still trying to decide where I should buy the latest iMac from.

Does anyone of you in the United States know when will the B&H have stock in the latest iMac? so I can get it for tax-free.

Thanks!

My 27 Stock (middle range) will be here by noon tomorrow. I went stock so I can just get ram myself and install it (which is cheaper at 120 for a 16gb module)

Same I went for the base 27” and its due tomorrow.

I am also going to upgrade the RAM; I didn’t feel any need to go for a faster processor and if I need more storage I can connect an SSD via Thunderbolt3.

Where can you buy the new 2400MHz DDR4 SDRAM? I don't see it for sale at any of the usual places like OWC or Crucial for the iMac. Maybe it's just too soon to buy it.

I actually modified my order after a bit of reflection and reading. I now have upgraded to an i7 too, ha. I do photo editing, but nothing too crazy, however, I do a decent amount of FCP 1080p film editing, and that will likely soon become 4k, so it seemed worth the paltry increase in money for a 6-8 year machine. (I've been using a 21" iMac since 2011).

Now delivering one day later, so Jun 17 - Jun 21 (Ships: 4–6 business days). Probably arriving the same as my original order would have.

Yes, but are you going to get 2 sets of this? hardly worth just for 16.

B & H has a good bit of it in different sizes. Just search there on sodimm 2400. Free ship and no tax.
