Just got my shipping emails too and the status on the apple store app has moved to shipped also.

DPD delivery for me (UK)
Which is nice, because usually the DPD tracks the GPS of the delivery van at each stop so can watch it’s agonisingly slow progress across the map to my door :)

Got my shipped emails too, but thought that it would come with some progress... Nothing moved yesterday. Got emails hours ago. Still no movement...

Unfortunately mine is listed as U.K. mail. I,d prefer DPD for those reasons.

Not to mention DPD don’t throw your package, don’t leave it unattended, show up when they bloody well so and bring the correct item.

Can you recall when your order went from processing to preparing for shipment? My wife ordered the wrong iPad storage size (should have been 256 but ordered 64) and didn’t realize it until Thursday so she placed a second order. She paid for the expedited shipping with the window being November 15-20 (don’t remember what the regular window was).

As of this morning hers is still showing as processing. Just trying to get an idea of when we can expect hers to go to preparing for shipment and how fast the order might process from China.

Depending on where you live it’ll leave there at some point today/tonight. Don’t worry it’ll get to you.
 
No updates on movement, but I got the emails from Apple around 12:30 last night. IPP and Apple Pencil will be delivered by end of day tomorrow. That usually means around 7:00 or so. Ugh, I hate how they show deliveries these days. It could come early or (more likely) around 7:00. Since someone has to sign and there have been some thefts in my neighborhood we will just need to wait around for UPS to arrive.

Are they really that bad?

I don’t recall receiving a delivery from UKMail before.

I’m not a fan of Hermes, as my last delivery from them was apparently signed for... by me. I never received a thing.

They aren’t the worst, but DPD are noticeably better than all their competitors.

Hermes are pretty bad but at least they aren’t DHL, I think everyone had a DHL horror story.

Got an iMac in 2005 or something and only noticed after they’d gone that the corner of the box was crushed.
Didn’t notice any damage to the iMac itself, although the dvd drive in that machine failed shortly afterwards and so needed to be replaced.
Was very glad when Apple changed their delivery partner for the UK.

Not least because the collection depots for the others are much closer than DHLs :)
 
My iPad still shows as departed Anchorage. I was hoping it would get scanned in last night, but nope. Anyone else? (Please say the shipment hasn’t been scanned and it’s not that my iPad somehow got lost)

Ummm just had DPD at the weekend. They dumped it outside the front door without even ringing or knocking the front door!

DPD is by far the best because they also give you a half hour window which is super convenient if you can't stay in one place for the whole day. DHL isn't really that bad. They offer many options and they have good tracking. It's also probably the most popular choice so they obviously have the highest number of missteps.

I tend to get w notification from them before the driver has even knocked. The only issue is their delivery route passes an adjacent street then goes off on a journey in a different area for about an hour before doubling back down my street.

I'm in the same boat. My Mini got its Departure, Arrival, and Import scan, all within a matter of 12 hours, but the iPad has been sitting on "Departure" for over 24 hours now.

Dagnabbit, Verizon, hurry up and process and ship my order! My confirmation email says deliver by 11/7.... Ugh! If there’s no movement today or by 11pm EDT, I’ll start tracking on iStocknow and try for an Apple Store in the morning

Thanks. I figured it was probably just the shipment not being scanned, but as I’m heading out of town Thursday I’m starting to get anxious. I assume we’ll see them scanned in right before they start to dispatch to our various cities.

My pencil and iPad are in Louisville but my keyboard has been stuck in Hong Kong for days.

In my many years experience tracking Apple preorders, everything has always arrived in time despite tracking seeming to show it frozen. I wake up on arrival day and find ups has updated the information to show it was moving all along. I suspect nothing different this year.
