Orders are starting to ship out and are on the way!!

I'm in the Nov 13th - 16th range & my status is now Preparing to Ship. I just checked & my credit card has been charged. I do not have anything in UPS yet for the iPad. My pencil & keyboard have been in delivery planner since last week. I did expedited shipping so maybe I will get it before this weekend :).

Same here. I guess our chances of getting it on the 7th just went up.

I can only speak from my own experience, but this wasn’t an option for me. I could change the delivery to the store at least a full day before delivery with no delay, or I could risk delivery at home. Once they failed to deliver, I could pick it up at the CC, which was a lot further from my home than the store, but I couldn’t change the delivery location to the store.

Me, too! I was planning on going to the store on Wednesday and seeing if I could get one quicker, but not sure how much longer I am really going to have to wait. Will be interesting to see when it actually ships.

For additional context, my Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio arrive Wednesday 11/7, and I see it in the UPS Track by Reference screen.
 
I was going to complain that although I’m supposed to get my 12.9” iPad Pro on Wednesday it is still sitting in Taiwan, but in checking the reference number I discovered that it has a tracking number, and checking that out I found that it has gone through Departure Scan in Anchorage, AK. This is more like it.

I still have not received an e-mail or text announcement of its tracking number, although I’m signed up with UPS for that service.
 
Mine too, I have an 11 on the way for the 7th and a 12.9 just charged for and preparing to ship. I leave on a week long international trip on the 12th so I’m crossing my fingers it gets here no later than Friday. At the very worst I’m going to try on Wednesday for the 12.9 if I dont have a solid delivery date then have to return everything. .
 
mine shows on UPS site for deliver on 11/7/2018 but I am thinking to buy the 12.9" instead so I ordered it too today but shipping 11/27/2018 best buy will have it on 11/13/2018 will see

Apple this time didn't update there site but if you call they can tell you if it shipped

I leave for a week long trip as well...early Thursday morning. If mine doesn't arrive before my local UPS store closes at 7pm Wednesday, I'm SOL. But they're on the move, likely already in Louisville, despite still showing as preparing to ship, so I'm not seeing a reason to worry yet.

You choose a store? Hopefully that doesn't delay you a day.
 
has any of you in the 13-16 window got any updates from UPS. I am preparing to ship from Apple in the 14-19 window only my pencil has shown up on UPS.
 
I have an estimate of 13-16 with express shipping for my 12.9 lte 512gb space gray. My card just got charged for the ipad, how soon do they usually ship once you get charged? Only thing showing up at ups is the pencil which should be here the 7th.
 
All of my stuff still says “preparing to ship,” which, whatever, I have the tracking numbers and know it’s on the move. But it now says “delivers tomorrow” and it’s only 11pm where I am. Is the store app on east coast or central time, or maybe still on DST? Surely it’s not really all delivering on the 6th...

That means it is about to ship, my card got charged last Thursday, shipped after that though Apple doesn't reflect that, but they are holding until Wednesday. Think you will be at beginning of your range if not a few days earlier based on getting charged.
 
I knee-capped myself. Originally ordered an 11" that would've been here next week. Cancelled that today after I met a local guy that had the 12.9" from Apple and I ordered the 12.9 with 256GB and chose the expedited option for $8 to put me in the 19-23 delivery window.
 
Anybody who just went to PFS. 13-19 window. Had their card charged. Go to UPS.com I just checked by reference number used my phone number and it told me my iPad will be here on Friday the ninth.
 
I've still got preparing for dispatch, arrive by 7th November. My confidence is waning that I'll get it tomorrow. Anyone else got this?
