My 11” keyboard folio has now had its arrival scan in Anchorage. Time stamp 12:35p. 11” iPad still hasn’t scanned in at Louisville, but I’m pretty sure it’s there. I expect we’ll see movement on all the Louisville stuff tonight.

Now what's the deal with UPS61 vs UPS59? Is it just a difference in destination? I thought all packages were going to be routed through Louisville, KY? I had an order come in on UPS59 that should then switch to UPS61 to be shipped to me, which is why I am confused.

If I’m understanding it correctly, one is going to Louisville, KY and the other to Ontario, CA (not to be confused with Ontario, Canada). Either way, it will be to you on Wednesday. It’s just a matter of where they process it through customs. It’s possible they’re simply splitting shipments to get them through customs faster.

Not at all worried about getting it on Wednesday. Just curious to understand the process!

I have a Smart Keyboard that has an Anchorage scan at 12:37pm... UPS flight 59 landed at 12:42pm. It can't be on that plane so I'm thinking its on flight 61.

Yeah there were three flights that landed in Anchorage around the same time that came from Hong Kong. 59 & 63 left there at the same time and went directly to Anchorage. 61 left about two hours earlier but made a stop in Taiwan on the way...that’s how they all got there at the same time.

All of mine still says "Preparing for Shipment." It will be interesting how it gets from that to my door by Wednesday, which it still claims is the delivery date...

Mine is in the same situation, I'm getting anxious about wednesday arrival, since I'm leaving for a trip Thursday.

same here, "Preparing for Shipment." since 4 days, not sure how i will get my mac mini on Wednesday.

Guys, it's all already on its way. Everyone here still reads Preparing For Shipment on apple. But if you are able to match the UPS tracking number you'll see that your stuff has been on its way for days.

Still feels like Apple is coming in hot, but ill reserve my judgment for the 8th.

Yep, mine too. I have a theory that some were already stateside and will have overnight shipping tomorrow.

Mine says preparing to ship still as well but you can check Apple already shipped your orders by going to UPS tracking page, use your 10-digit phone number for reference number, and it should show up. Apple usually does not change order status to shipped until the day or two before delivery date.

I really wish Apple would go back to showing a shipped status when our orders actually ship. I don’t see what good it does to keep us all at preparing for shipment this whole time when it’s well documented that all of our stuff has been on the move for several days now.

It just creates nothing but confusion and angst when people come in here and see all of us talking about plane flights and tracking number updates and they don’t realize that we had to go directly to UPS to get up to date info on our order status.

People freak out because they think their stuff is still in China or that Apple has somehow let their order slip through the cracks because they assume all of us that are tracking our orders through UPS have had our order status has changed to “shipped” while they see they are still at “preparing for shipment”.

It didn’t used to be like this, and I sure wish Apple would go back to the way it used to be.
[doublepost=1541463285][/doublepost]Oh yeah...what I originally hopped on here for (then saw several posts about order status confusion)....several flights are taking off heading for Louisville (UPS59 heading for Ontario, California) so we should see a bunch of departure scans from Anchorage soon.

How do you guys find your orders on UPS? Tried with my phone number and order number as “reference number” and it didn’t work. Is it a US-only thing? Is UPS the only delivery option? I live in Sweden btw and really wanna see where the beauty is ;)

My 11” departed ANC almost 24 hours ago. Still hasn’t landed. Maybe it’s in a holding pattern somewhere :)

My theory on this is that your tracking number is associate to a pallet (spelling?) and we get our tracking numbers once a serial number is actually assigned to us. This helps with customs clearance and any other delays. That way, if a pallet (again, spelling?) has a delay, you can be assigned to another pallet in the grouping to ensure same delivery date without alarming a customer.

While this may be very far off, I think there is a very logical reason as to why they dont display shipped right away otherwise they would do it.
