Have a pencil and iPad in Louisville, another iPad left Anchorage but I suspect it is already in Louisville, and a keyboard that can't be found yet. Either way have no worries that they will all arrive Wednesday.
So on reflection, i've decided to refuse delivery tomorrow because it has a camera bump, I'll have black bars when playing The Quest, i can't access my external hard drive full of all my a-team and knight rider VHS rips, and possibly worst of all it only has 4 megabytes of RAM, of which only 640kb is accessible to apps, and most of that is taken up by the keyboard drivers that it loads when it boots, and you don't have access to config.sys to remove it.
You should be using TSRs to maximize the 384K RAM between 640K and 1M and keep them out of the beginning 640K.So on reflection, i've decided to refuse delivery tomorrow because it has a camera bump, I'll have black bars when playing The Quest, i can't access my external hard drive full of all my a-team and knight rider VHS rips, and possibly worst of all it only has 4 megabytes of RAM, of which only 640kb is accessible to apps, and most of that is taken up by the keyboard drivers that it loads when it boots, and you don't have access to config.sys to remove it.

Truly. I still have my 3 diskette version of the original DOOM from the 90s version 1.666). How will I ever load it onto my iPad?Em, hello, aren’t you missing the bigger picture. There’s a serious point you missed off your list of negativity.
How the hell do we access our 5.25” floppies on it? I cannot believe they omitted such a crucial piece of hardware.
I remember when i was 14 i had various boot disks with different configs depending on what i was playing, one without a mouse driver had about 613KB free base memory. Man i was proud of that config. You should be using TSRs to maximize the 384K RAM between 640K and 1M and keep them out of the beginning 640K.
Joking aside - that is the one thing that hasn't bothered me about technology. I am no audiophile, but i am a commuter, and the number of times i used to snag my cable on ticket machines, other people, my watch, my bag, i ditched cables as soon as i could get my first pair of bluetooth headphones and never looked back. And yet you're cool with the removal of the headphone jack. Apple fans...
Oh yes, nothing like an evening wrestling with autoexec.bat so your new game could play, LOL.I remember when i was 14 i had various boot disks with different configs depending on what i was playing, one without a mouse driver had about 613KB free base memory. Man i was proud of that config.

Anyone from Germany with a shipping confirmation? So far, these only seem to exist in the US.
Same as you, wondering why it stopped in Taiwan, but it has departed already!Mine is in Taiwan... where does it go from there? I have never seen that before. My Keyboard is still sitting in China.
11/05/2018 19:15 Taoyuan, Taiwan Arrival Scan
My 11” keyboard folio has an 8:32pm departure scan from Chek Lap Kok.
My 11” iPad Pro hasn’t been scanned as arriving in Louisville yet, but I see the plane has only recently landed, so I expect that will happen soon.
I'm expecting my shipped email (Apple Pencil) tonight/early am tomorrow since it's 'overnight' shipping. Now if I could only get an update out of AT&T...No one in the U.S. has shipped confirmation either yet, we are just tracking by reference.

Honestly, I had kind of stopped checking until this morning. The Debbie Downer reviews, complaints in other parts of MacRumors about prices, and sky-is-falling narrative about Apple on Wall Street has really killed my buzz about getting my new iPad. Hopefully my attitude will change on Wednesday once I have everything unboxed and set up.
I still fondly remember those "Start Me Up" Windows 95 commercials. Hated Windows 95 itself, but those commercials were part of my childhood!Ah, those were the days. Squeezing every bit of memory you could to get Magic Carpet running on a 386DX
I actually hated when windows 95 came along, I was too much of a DOS guy, thank god you could still use it at that point.
There are definite patterns in the ebb and flow of Apple news and product releases every year, and most of it I just shrug off. I've seen every one of these movies before. Today's Nikkei story about XR demand? Like clockwork. Knew it was coming sooner or later. Whatever. But one thing that always bugs the crap out of me is when I have a new device coming my way, and people are going to such lengths to trash it. I guess it triggers some buyer's remorse sometimes. Not that I'd ever let that keep me from a new iPad Pro!Just stop reading all the meaningless negative posts, people excited about buying the Pro know what they are getting and why they are getting it, most of them probably don't even know Macrumors exists and a lot of those that do aren't the ones ragging on about crap like the missing headphone jack. Some of the reviews are just echoing the same crap that can also be safely ignored, in fact all I've been looking at the reviews for is a better representation of the 2 cases to see how they work.
The one complaint I have in common with the negative posts & reviews is not being able to access external storage at least to be able to read from it in the Files App and copy to the iPad, Write support would be a bonus but I could live with just having a better way of importing RAW files to the iPad because I only want process photos in my camera roll.
Yep i remember installing a Sound Blaster pro in my 365SX-25 and messing about with MS-Dos trying to find the 590k out of the 640k that i needed so it would run properly.Ah, those were the days. Squeezing every bit of memory you could to get Magic Carpet running on a 386DX
