You can grab the version that has Java built in for 10.10 and newer. I know the EAP version has it as an option, I'm sure the final release version does as well somewhere.
 
MMB (Movie Magic Budgeting) isn't working on El Cap. It required Java 6 and the new OS won't allow you to install legacy versions of Java like Yosemite did. Bummer.\

Nope. Won't allow that version to be installed.

You didn't read what I wrote. I said you can grab the version of PhpStorm with Java built in. I know how to get the EAP version with it, but I don't know if there is a link on the jetbrains site to get version 8 with it. You might have to modify the URL with -with-bundled or whatever the string is.
 
Box Sync is crashing on launch.

The following appear to be good so far: Chrome, Twitter, Simplenote, Wanderlist, Spotify, Pixelmator, RapidWeaver (6), Sublime Text, and Microsoft Remote Desktop.
 
VMware Fusion 6 is supported. The first time I started my VMs (right after OS installation), each one took a long time to start. Subsequent starts were fine. My Windows Bootcamp VM starts fine. I bit the bullet on this one.

EDIT: My Windows 10 VM (bootcamp) makes my MBP very hot. Fan spins at near or near maximum speed. My Linux VMs are fine.

Can anyone confirm if Starcraft 2 works? And if performance is hindered or improved by el capitan?

Bummer, I like CleanMyMac3. So I'll wait to do the beta.
 
I'm hoping that Adobe CC 2014 works, namely:

Photoshop
Illustrator
Indesign

I'm also wondering about Extensis Suitcase Fusion? (I remember last year when Yosemite came out, they really dropped the ball getting a compatible version out!)
 
I have a lot still to test on my system with 10.11 as I had only a few minutes with it last night, but I will report here if anything is broken or not working properly.
 
Some apps do work, but either layout is broken or they crash on some events.

Unibox - works, but it renders messages in a weird way so it becomes unusable.
Telegram - works, but crashes when trying to send a message that's more that 2 lines.

Photoshop works flawlessly.

The only broken app I've found so far: XtraFinder
