OS X El Capitan: Working & Not Working Apps

Finale 2014 works once you load Legacy Java 6. It loaded fine for me.

I am running Sibelius 6.2 still and all works fine except the Save as feature hangs up with the spinning beach ball. Files already saved can be saved over just fine. It seems to not want to load window contents when choosing save as.
 
Just a lurker so I don't have enough posts to update the wiki, but XtraFinder supports 10.11 as of the latest release according to the Facebook page. Not using El Cap yet because I couldn't live without it, so I haven't verified it working yet.
 
XtraFinder needs SIP to be disabled in order to run. I don't mind disabling SIP temporarily to install something, so long as I can work out what the installer is doing (as I had to do in order to get SIMBL working, for example) but not to keep it disabled for the app to run.

So, unfortunately, that means still no XtraFinder for me.

Hm, that's disappointing, but if you think about it, a small price to pay. OS X hasn't had SIP for 10 versions and has been an extremely secure OS in the hands of capable users. I will certainly take the tradeoff of disabling SIP in order to be able to run tweaks like this.
 
Finale 2014 works for me on the first public beta. Haven't tested it on the newest one yet. You just need to redownload Java for it.

EDIT: Finale 2014 works on public beta 2 for me. Just tested it.

Lightroom 5 works for me too.

Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer no longer seem to work with DP5. The apps load, but once you change tools, it stops responding. Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: Managed to fix them by reinstalling both apps and clearing out their library files. The latter may not be necessary.

I'm having major problems with Logic Pro X performance. Static and choppiness on occasion. And drivers for my Focusrite audio interface stopped working completely.
 
Latest beta completely borked Battle.net games. It's like a disco party (but displays correctly when an overlay such as mute is displayed).

EDIT: This is in fullscreen or fullscreen (windowed). Playing HoTS just in Windowed works fine.

try unplugging the focusrite, and use the internal audio for your logic output; see if that makes a difference. LX is running fine here...

After Effects CC 2015 seems to be broken for me since DP5, anybody able to confirm? Was working solid through DP1-DP4

Affinty Photo not responding for me. Tried the reinstall but didn't work. Where are these library files that you speak of?
