AT&T paid in full 256 Space Gray. No credit card charge, “Order in Progress”, order W495xxxxxx. No phones in stock nearby. Waiting somewhat impatiently. Still in 17-24.

Oh wow, this may throw off our order number theory....

For curiosity, I just tried adding an iphone X for a separate Apple ID in the Apple Store app shopping cart, says ships in 3-4 weeks and currently unavailable for pickup at store near me. I guess that makes me feel a little better..... just a little.....

The status of my order has now changed to
Status Shipment In Transit - Delayed
When I check UPS it appears:

The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.

This hasn´t changed since yesterday morning.

UPDATE: Silver is on it's way (UPS says it will arrive this Friday 10), my Space Grey still delayed and no movement since yesterday morning, really strange.

Yea, my UPS tracking said it would deliver Friday - just checked now and its been updated that it will now deliver on Tuesday the 14th. I am hoping that it updates again...was looking forward to playing around with it this weekend.

Yes, I had to provide my Verizon billing pin for some reason and Apple had to connect to the Carrier to complete the purchase even though I was paying in full. This is where my order stalled at 3:15am and I got the dreaded “we will hold your place in line while we try to connect to the carrier and email you when it is time to complete your order”. I have seen on this forum though where people with other carriers were ordering Verizon phones some how.

those who have received their iphone x's or whose phones are on the way, can you please confirm what is the average number of days that it takes from your order changing to Preparing for shipment to being delivered to your doorstep? 4-5 days? less? more?
