So I just got another phone call from the senior advisor team that works with the backroom people.. he was like we have looked deeper into your issue and might have a better option for you then the 17th.. hyped me up because I honestly and truly did have the 3rd that I provided screenshots to him... and he was like yeah we can still get this phone to you launch day no problem blah blah blah.. and he came back on the phone after being on the phone for 20ish mins "because so many placed the same order you did at the same time we have to honor first in first out" so I just laid into him about how us full paying customers aren't getting treated fairly.. he let me know that he would hang up if I was getting any more angry with him.. so story short Ill prob. be already charged and waiting till the 17th.. cause I know dam well he is knows what's going on back there... I did bring up the fact that people with order numbers and Resv. numbers AFTER mine are getting first pull.. he said order and reservation number are "random" and one number does mean before or after :mad::mad:

Jaz he is so lucky im at work and the conference rooms close to me were booked.. I was about to lost my SHT on him.. when he came back to the phone talking reckless. FK he hyped me up to say something dumb like that. :mad::mad:

Paid in full, ATT, 256, placed order order around 3:10 EST, got confirmation email at 3:18. No charges, no movement. Still 17-24.

I even brought that up... he was like we don't take priority to our internal program.. I was like BS man.. that's when he stopped me.. haha I'm so like frustrated that he even called to like tease me.. wasted 30 mins on the phone and screwed me

Lol idk why they are even lying like its ok to just admit people giving you more guaranteed money over time are going to get priority. OR just bump us all up ;)

One hypothesis as to why the IUP orders might be getting a disproportionate share of the "bumps" is that their orders processed more quickly as many had pre-approved their credit, and presumably the carriers had already confirmed their eligibility.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow morning a lot of people here see their credit cards charged, and get shipping dates sometime next week. I'll post what happens to my account tomorrow (my card has been charged but the shipping window hasn't changed yet).

Why all the hate? Apple promised you a window of 11/17-11/24, and odds are pretty good it will arrive before then. So what if other people got bumped up? If an extra million phones became available from some combination of cancellations and extra production, but they have 3 million pre-orders, not everyone will get bumped up. Treat it like getting bumped up to first/business class at the airport.

the bump isn't getting dived out fairly... I just spend 1100 on a phone and your gonna tell me because someone called and complained and someone else did this and UP gets more money out of them you can help them first? I just PAID IN FULL for what? Ughhhhh not taking it out on you or anything.. Just that phone call just blew me up.

A year or two ago there were lots of threads from IUP members complaining that they didn't get priority because Apple made them process upgrades in the store. This year they changed that so they ship the phone out and a box to return the old one in. In some respects, it makes sense to give some priority to IUP since Apple knows they are more likely to buy new phones every year.
