General pangu 1.1 is out

Hmm I just updated cydia I'm on iOS 7 though. Now I can't access cydia and mms isn't working

It can be if you use a VM with Windows. ;) Technically you're still on the Mac, the Apple computer. ;)

Also, it's just a matter of time for the software to be released on the OSX platform. It's just like most cross platform software. The amount of users with Windows outweighs the amount on the OS X platform. It's going to be developed for Windows first, and then ported over the the Mac OS.

It's not likely. I know with Winebottler, it does not.

I think Crossover is a bit more sophisticated, if you can get iTunes for Windows installed in the same bottle as Pangu, then maybe.

It's best to just use a Virtual Machine or BootCamp.
 
do we still use winterboard?

I jail broke but can't install WinterBoard it say "the requested modifications cannot be appied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed"
 
Just restored LTE iPad mini 2 and tried again on two different windows computers, still fails every time! Have any of you with the same device been able to get it to work?
 
Jailbroke my 6 last night and loaded up a handful of tweaks from the docs.zoho sheet with no problems. I installed classic dock, color badges, openssh, showcase, unlocksound7, and virtual home.

Ran fine for a couple hours then when I was getting ready for bed I decided to do a reboot and was presented with the apple logo that wouldn't go away... I did have a passcode enabled which I thought was fixed in 1.1?

Are we still not able to have a passcode enabled? Any suggestions or maybe just a fluke? I did plug into iTunes thinking I could bounce it out of the apple screen but it wouldn't even recognize my phone unless I did the dfu process:(
 
I haven't checked but is TouchID working in the jailbreak? I'm assuming Apple Pay wont work.
 
Wow that was the fastest jailbreak ever took just a min to complete. It took much longer to backup and restore.
 
I've been ready to jailbreak since 1.1 came out, but with people popping up with some problems arising is making me hesitant. What is the overall consensus so far?
 
i have same problems as others here. when i go to reboot, i am stuck at the apple logo and i have to restore the phone again. This last time i did a clean restore, jailbroke, restored data and enabled touch id and passcode. did not install a single tweak except for a util update. Rebooted and sure enough, the phone was stuck again.

This update still has issue with touch Id or passcode.

there will always be some problems. there are even people having problems with iOS 8.1 (with no jailbreak).
 
pangu 1.1 is out

Jailbreak says successful but pangu app has no icon and when I click it it just crashes. I did a restore in iTunes and turned off all passcodes, Touch ID and find my phone and don't know what's wrong.

Same issue here, worked fine and then reboot, stuck and apple logo.

I'm not stranger to the jailbreak scene at all, just haven't been paying attention to pangu this time around until the last cpl of days. There will always be issues, but this is the first release that has cydia packaged and not necessarily being pushed as for devs only. That's why I am trying to get the overall status from people who are running 1.1.0 and see what may still be the primary issues.

Jailbroke my iPad mini and it is going just fine, but mainly concerned about iPhone bugs with passcode and touchID as must keep those enabled.

reboot and delete the pangu app and try again. it happened to a friend of mine but it worked on 2nd try right after
