Jailbreak says successful but pangu app has no icon and when I click it it just crashes. I did a restore in iTunes and turned off all passcodes, Touch ID and find my phone and don't know what's wrong.

Run the jailbreak again and it will resolve the issue. Just happened to me.

Never mind, ran it again and it did everything plus some new stuff this time around, working great now.

The passcode/touch id issues were fixed BEFORE pangu was bundled nicely with Cydia.

I'm not stranger to the jailbreak scene at all, just haven't been paying attention to pangu this time around until the last cpl of days. There will always be issues, but this is the first release that has cydia packaged and not necessarily being pushed as for devs only. That's why I am trying to get the overall status from people who are running 1.1.0 and see what may still be the primary issues.

Jailbroke my iPad mini and it is going just fine, but mainly concerned about iPhone bugs with passcode and touchID as must keep those enabled.

Check out my post, post #63. Looks as if another person had similar issue too... I'm not new to jail breaking and everything went very smooth until I rebooted...

I restored and am going to give it another go tonight.

check out my post #70. There are always some people who will have issues, it's the nature of technology.

I just purchased my iPad Air 2 and before jailbreaking I want to be sure I do it correctly since I am NOT used to this jailbreak..I have to turn OFF TouchID and passcode..and I also have to turn ON airplane mode as well..Oh and do I need to turn off "Find my iPad" as well?? and when the jailbreak is complete then I can turn back on TouchID and passcode? and I can turn off airplane mode? Just want to be sure before I do this..and as far as cydia mobistrate goes, do I install that before turning back on TouchID and passcode..I obviously have NOT backed up my iPad Air 2 since I have nothing on it right now
Sorry for all the questions just dont want to mess anything up Thanks!!

I have already done it twice. Are you restoring from a back up?

The 1st time I did. The 2nd time I only turned off passcode turned on airplane mode and jail broke. I have 79gb of data on my iP6 so wasn't sure but it only took a minute or less and have had zero issues! Very happy:)

Any word on a Mac release yet? I NEED to get activator working. iOS 8 keeps dropping wifi connection for me, which wouldn't be a big issue if it weren't for the fact that I watch a lot of YouTube videos and I often use large chunks of my data because I haven't noticed I'm on 4G. I've just used a quarter of my month's data in the last half hour. I used to use an activator action to turn off cellular data when I get on a recognised wifi network.

Maybe borrow a friend's windows computer to jailbreak?

What is the difference between Restore via Pangu and Restore from a backup in itunes?

.03 update is out in the pangu app to fix the cpu drain. Do I have to rejailbreak to get the new update or does it happen in the background?

Update in Cydia. It will also be on the home page once you load Cydia up if it doesn't prompt you of the update.

Guys I haven't followed the pangu release closely. Is it stable the jailbreak now?

Can't speak for everyone but it's working okay on my iPhone 5 besides safari which keeps popping up with errors instead of loading a page. I am using Chrome in the meantime

It's been plenty stable for me.

I think the issues people are running into, are because they weren't following directions, or jailbreaking before a clean restore.

This version broke my email. When opening a new email, my email app crashes. Also in Facebook, when you click the reply comments, the app will crash. Not sure if anyone having the same issues.

Make sure you are running the latest version of pangu and have installed all updates in Cydia.

Best bet is to DFU restore before jailbreaking too.
