While visited a couple weeks ago, saved this panoramic posting for Memorial Day. National cemetery at Gettysburg. Three of those rows are numbered plot markers for unknown soldiers. While the NY Monument to the right is a dominate feature near the main street entrance, the Soldier's National Monument to the left is the site where Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. Out of the picture to the left and about 300 yards back is the Lincoln Memorial with civil war veterans forward and a section behind it for veterans through Vietnam when the cemetery was officially closed in 1972, allowing eligible dependents of those already interred.

Not a huge pano, just the most recent one I took to try and see how fast it was on the M1 Max! The answer is definitely faster, but not mind-blowingly faster. The mind-blowing part is that my laptop isn't warm and the fans are off! I'll have to try again with a much larger pano (or HDR pano), but I have to go out and shoot one first!

As promised, went out and shot a bigger (6 image) pano just to see how quickly the M1 Max could process it. It was definitely way faster than the Intel (took Lightroom ~30 seconds) and the export to JPG was also way fast (probably ~10 seconds). But most impressive was the whole process of putting in the SD card (which on its own is already a huge improvement), scanning for new photos, importing photos, merging, editing, exporting. Never had to wait for anything to load more than 30 seconds and the laptop on my lap never even got warm. And all this used only 2% battery!

That is a much better angle than mine and it doesnt have the trails in the sky. The separation of Half Done is lovely in this one.
Thanks ... I've been trying to figure out where you took your pano. from . Tioga Pass Road , maybe? Mine was taken from Glacier Point .
