the ads dont really distract from the gameplay so whats the big deal?
I think they do. I played the game a LOT without ads, and now they bug the hell out of me.
My problem is not the ads - my problem is not following a clear path many other developers follow - a LITE/FREE version, clearly marked as such, where the description says it has ads, and a PAID version ad-free. Paper Toss was add-less one day, and an update later with no warning, it had ads. I just think that's wrong.
I like the lite/free concept to try something out, and I agree one should PAY for good software. So, to the Paper Toss developers, rename this app Paper Toss FREE, and release a new one without adds. I'll even pay $2.99 for it.![]()
As for the ads - thankfully it's blockable:

Comes with instructions for bypassing Categories/SBSettings reqs.
I wish they had a paid app with nothing but ads. You know, like cable TV.
I think they make more money off of ads in popular apps than they would selling it for 99 cents a pop.
Sorry, but why should people make money off FREE apps if they decide to make them FREE?
I'd really love to find out what some of the ad whiners do for money (if anything) and then jailbreak a way around it.
Work at a gas station? Maybe I'll just drive off without paying because I don't like the ad advertising the 99 cent drinks.
Work for a magazine? I'll just steal a copy because I don't like that ad for Nike inside.
Work at a bank? I'll just barge in and rob the place because I got sent a piece of mail advertising savings accounts.
Seriously, some of you are acting like 10-year-olds about these ads. There's no clause anywhere that says these games come without ads from now until eternity. These are mostly 99 cent games you're talking about. It's a MAJOR pain in the butt to develop such stuff, so I don't see the big deal about these ads, which are so unobtrusive that it's not funny. This isn't like a pop-up on a Web site that you have to figure out how to close.
paper toss ad free is now available for 99 cents
