I don't think there is such a version and certainly not with the required drivers for Macs - yet.Guys - is there a way to run permanent Windows 10 Arm version?
I dont want Win 10 Arm evaluation copy anymore - just need the version (ISO or VXHD) which I can install, activate and then stop all the updates...
I’ve not tried it, but does this work?Guys - is there a way to run permanent Windows 10 Arm version?

I reused a Windows 10 Pro License I was previously using on a VM that I probably won’t be able to use anymore. Doesn’t seem to be a difference in Architecture for licensing. But I think that only works for a Windows 10 Pro license, and not a Windows 10 Home license. I’m pretty sure a Business/Enterprise license won’t work due to it needing to phone home to the Company/Business? Not sure how that works.Guys - is there a way to run permanent Windows 10 Arm version?

Yeah, if they’re referring to natively running WoA, I wouldn’t hold your breath. But anything is possible. I’ve been following @never_released On Twitter and there seems to be major roadblocks with the initial boot loader process not working for anything other than macOS at the moment. Although I did see them retweet someone indicating they’re able to get something working using Apple Configurator.. We’re a long way off from being able to hack it and run another OS let alone use BootCamp to run Windows. Microsoft could surprise us, though.I don't think there is such a version and certainly not with the required drivers for Macs - yet.
Pretty sure that's what's being evaluated.
I'm getting the exact same problem and posted on their forums here:Does anyone get a JavaScript error when trying to install Microsoft Teams on Windows ARM?

I assume Microsoft haven't released an ARM version of Teams that we can actually install on Windows RT given that the O365 installer only includes Skype. Would be ecstatic if someone would provide me wrong though!
Thanks for this as the ARM version I saw announced at Ignite I was not convinced was downloading the correct version.Did you try to install the ARM64 version of teams like from https://statics.teams.cdn.office.net/production-windows-arm64/1.3.00.27972/Teams_windows_arm64.exe

I tried the ARM version and I am still getting the JavaScript error! Thanks for this as the ARM version I saw announced at Ignite I was not convinced was downloading the correct version.
Unfortunately this still causes the same JavaScript error!
Yeah it is pretty amazing. It's easy to forget Windows is operating in a VM, the performance is that good. This tech preview is pretty amazing. It is significantly quicker than running Parallels on my 2018 MBP. I only need to use Microsoft Access but the performance may lead me to try gaming and other things. I hope that MS let's Parallels and/or Apple market an official ARM solution.

It's such a shame some of the MS 1st party Windows apps don't run, cos for some reason they're still only ARM32!!
I'd be thoroughly embarrassed about that if I were MS, especially considering the speed at which Parallels not only got their own product up and running so quickly, but to have got it performing this well.
Works for me. I had to change some System path settings for nmake to be found.... as far as I can see it Visual Studio is not running completely: Compiling seems not to be working properly

I’m able to go from 7AM to around 6:30-7’ish PM with about 20%-25% or so battery left. That’s with light use in Win10 via Parallels.Anyone tested the battery life while running Parallels and Windows ARM? How's the battery usage like?
Oh... I think I use 20+% battery in ~2 hours, running a charting app (metatrader 4) in Windows ARM. hmmm...I’m able to go from 7AM to around 6:30-7’ish PM with about 20%-25% or so battery. That’s with light use in Win10 via Parallels.

Are they available as x86 Win32? If so, then there is no technical reason why they shouldn't run. Microsoft just needs to detect that AArch32 isn't implemented and have the store download the x86 Win32 version. There are thousands of apps from 3rd parties in the store from the Windows 8 days, which are all ARM32. They wont be available for ARM64 ever - among them a few classics from the early tablet days like the "Cut the Rope" series.
I used up about 80% of the battery in 6 hours when using a WOA VM pretty heavily. (Then I plugged it in.)Anyone tested the battery life while running Parallels and Windows ARM? How's the battery usage like?
Yes, understand that and am not that arsed about 3rd party apps not being updated, especially ones that old. There are thousands of apps from 3rd parties in the store from the Windows 8 days, which are all ARM32. There isn't any excuse for the 1st party MS ones like Photos though, was my point.
Future high-end Arm CPUs will not have AArch32 instructions just like the M1. This has been announced by Arm Ltd already. So in the future, Microsoft will have to fix this depending on when they use an Arm SoC that is modern. Probably in the next year or two. They might as well start now. Except I'm still not sure Microsoft wants to support a Apple Silicon hypervisor. Not sure what the point is. There is just no reason nor an incentive if the ARM32 app is working perfectly fine and no excuse necessary either.
