For some reason, I've loved flamingos from an early age. I have no idea why, but I have tons of flamingo statues (and also palm trees) around the house. I was overjoyed when the local big box store had the blown plastic pink flamingos, and ecstatic when they were selling the Halloween version. (The wife threw out the later version of them. Heretic!)

And sort of not related to birds, but I found this pic, and cracked up. Apparently he wanted me to know that he was there, cared, *something*. Just kinda hysterical...

'I'm here, but I don't care at the moment. Just letting you know I'm still here, I mean, for whatever. Treats, frisbee, a walk. No rush, you understand... Whenever you get around to it. Sometime today would be great... But I'll just hang around and... *ZZZZ*'

Oh, this was the one that came and sat down in front of me and barked. It was past walkies time, and he wanted to make sure that everyone knew that it was MY FAULT that walkies was delayed that day, and he wasn't exactly happy about it either, in no uncertain terms...
