Oops. You posted this one already. (#391). There are so many and they are coming so fast, it's hard to keep track.

What I've been doing in order to avoid this is dropping a copy of whatever I've posted in this thread into a separate folder called, appropriately enough, "Shared on MR Photo Association Game" and that way I hopefully will not post duplicates. Some items may be recognized, though, if in the more recent past -- say the last couple of years -- they've already been posted in the POTD thread somewhere along the line.

This project is surprisingly challenging, isn't it? Especially for those who don't have a large backlog of archives going back years or who don't have a variety of subjects, or who like me, remember having shot some particular subject and then when I check the folder realize that I processed very few of the images! I'm starting to get the itch now to process some of those older RAW files..... AIEEEE!!!!!

Agreed, my "archives" are focused on a few topics, and I am sure people can tell (cats, planes at the AF Museum, cats, cats, bed & breakfasts, cats).

And I can definitely notice that other people have the things they really like taking pictures of, which is good because that lets me see things I haven't seen or haven't had a chance to take a similar picture.

Luckily I do not have an "archive" per e, just a large Lightroom library. all my photos are on an external (1 TB SSD) drive and the index on the internal SSD, it usually take me just a couple minutes to find the photo I want to post, scrolling thru 1000s of photos is pretty fast and this game refreshes my memory of the photos I have.
Just now need to incorporate @Clix Pix advice to avoid duplicate posting ...

But do you have any pictures of cats? ;)
