CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln N is for nuclear. My son was on the JFK and the Kitty Hawk. I took a Tiger Cruise on the JFK, we went from Fort Lauderdale back to Norfolk. Great trip.

I love Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Our last trip was two years ago. That's where I took my sunrise picks. My aunt lives in the apartments next to the USS Wisconsin. I spent an entire afternoon taking pictures in there. Unfortunately, the bridge is not open to visitors because there are too many hazards that still need to be made right. The Wisconsin is a sister ship of the Missouri which is where the treaty between Japan and USA was signed to end WW2. One of my favorite things is all of the fly overs when the fleet comes in to port.

this photo was taking from a whale watching boat outside San Diego ... I have a few other vessels that I might share when this type of association gets it turn again :)

But do you have any pictures of cats? ;)
Why yes, I do. 🐱

I was actually going to post a picture of Sherlock, our Snowshoe, sitting on a Christmas present in front of the tree after I saw the black cat in a Christmas tree photo. But I got distracted and didn't submit it, and now the association game has passed me by.

But I will be patient, oh yes! 🤪

tell me about it ...
Why thank you for asking! The first time she ran for the neighbors yard, she went under their SUV parked in the driveway. I tried to cajole her out from under it and back to our yard while we stayed in our yard.

That didn't work, so I went over, reached under the SUV to grab her, and went back to our yard and took Watson inside.

A couple minutes later one of the neighbors is pounding on my back door, wanting to know what I was doing. Turns out they had a camera pointed at their driveway. Had I noticed, I would have made what I was doing even more obvious and held Watson up to the d4mn camera.

yea, besides most of our neighbors having dogs, we also have occasionally coyotes strolling through the neighborhood so we really cannot let the cats out ... but Elliot is a fence jumper and Hank a climber 🙀

In our neighborhood all of the dog owners have to put in invisible fences. My cat learned very quickly that she can roam and they can't. She'll sit in a neighbor's driveway to antagonize the dogs. When she gets bored she'll go to the next house and do the same.

That’s part of why I love cats 😸😸
