Olympus and Fuji

From my time as Project Manager at Madigan Army Medical Center.

Embarrassing story that makes me shake my head about myself. Mount Rainier is, like others along the coast that were volcanos that grew over time (Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Jefferson, etc.), is right out in the open, not surrounded by any other mountains, you can see it from anywhere. I remember one night driving home on the highway, passing through Kent, at a location where you could generally see it in all its glory, looming over everything. But it was nighttime, you couldn't see it of course.

And my Disnified brain thought, "Huh, well I guess they've shut down for the night, they've turned off the lights. That's a shame, I bet it looks cool all lit up."

*closes eyes, pounds forehead on desk repeatedly*

Beautiful looking, but the potential is always there.
