.. one of several black bears that came to the bbq fire pit in front of our cabin during this stay -- Manning Park Resort, EC Manning Provincial Park, BC (July, 2021) -- our first sighting of bears that close.
this Particular canoe has a forgiving wide bottom with moderate flex, so quite stable. With over 50 years experience any flipping was anticipated and never in routine usage. Generally, intentional flip to develop recovery skills or when riding the surf and difficult to maintain direction and eventually the wave is broadside, flipping me. That’s a lot of fun.
