Dining area of a Lustron house. A number of years ago there was an exhibit of Lustron houses at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair. The pictures didn't turn out as good as I would have wanted (due t lack of skill on my part), but this one is pretty good.

Lo these many moons ago when I was a little girl we had a pet turtle (that was back in the time before it was realized that this wasn't such a good idea, either for people or turtles). We were fascinated by the fact that he liked lettuce and one day my mother just for fun gave him a little piece of tomato -- and he immediately loved that, too! Strange little guy.....
