What is the association with the rocks of @deep diver?

I rode up the 'App Gap'. A really steep, in spots, ride over the Appalachian mountains. This one 'gap' is the 'worst' of the run of gaps up and down the range. There is a bike race that goes over the worst of them, in a couple of days, and people drop (quit, not die) like flies.

It's rocks, it's a mountain range. It's creating wicked things to ride up. Why? Because they are there. It seemed like fun at the time. It was brutal... 1,600+ feet in one day. I respect rocks.

I’m confused what’s this pic is about, care to explain?

It's actually a leaf underwater and the stream is running over it..... I probably should've explained that when I posted. it really is or was following the association at the time I posted! I actually was looking for another image, ran across this one and decided to post, without stopping to think that it really isn't all that obvious what is going on in the image.

I stayed at a San Francisco hotel, on the 48th floor, and could swear that I could feel the ground moving. And, the next day, I saw helicopters hovering outside my window! I turned on the box, and saw what they were looking at. I was slightly higher than they were too. (I was freaking out a little) I found the stairs, and there was a thin fence separating me from playing bird (turd) and plummeting to the ground. To make it worse, a 'friend' said "OMG!!! I think I just felt an EARTHQUAKE!!!" while standing my the 'living room' (I had a suite, a company perk).

With friends like those, right?

If you in a high rise hotel, the ground wasn't moving, you were! Buildings are designed to move back and forth in the wind. I felt the same thing years ago in a NYC hotel. Once you live through a quake you won't forget it, the last one I felt was last year was a 4.5 that was directly beneath my place in the East Bay (over the hills from Oakland). I was asleep and it took a few seconds to realize what was going on. We have had 3 earthquakes today north of us, I did not feel any of them. Usually in the range of 1.5 to 2.5. We had 360 earthquakes in the last 365 days! Welcome to California:(
