enjoying the sun in the morning ...
My guy is Russian Blue, not sure if he pure bred since he was a rescue. He was a house cat at house full of girls at UC Davis near Sacramento CA. One of the girls mother was a member of a local rescue group and her daughter brought him home when she left. I adopted him from the group. The stray gray cat that comes around reminds me a little of the cat in @Allyance's picture. Granted, this stray is thinner and the face is probably different, but I immediately thought of the stray when I saw the previous picture. And better yet, this is also a call-back to @jz0309's picture about a cat in the sun.

The stray cat in my picture isn't a Russian Blue, although his fur coloring and "texture" reminded me of a Russian Blue when I first saw him. At a minimum, this cat doesn't have the right eye color (apparently true Russian Blues only have one eye color, but I might be mis-remembering this). My guy is Russian Blue, not sure if he pure bred since he was a rescue.
