This is a really neat shot. I tried to look at EXIF data... but could see nothing. Would you tell us how and what you use to make these shots ?? I mean do you just hang out in the garden or what ? BJ

Agreed with the above poster..EXIF would be nice. Dllavaneras uses a macro flash sometimes but your lighting is always spot on and has a "natural" look (consider the lighting of the background). I have tried shots like these and I have never gotten even CLOSE to this level of detail with a dedicated Macro lens and superb sunshine.

What is your technique? Are you freezing them like Lee Frost ?I am asking because you seem to get insects always spot on in positions where they usually DO NOT stay still

Went to a performance by Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater last night and took my Canon T1i. Shot this with the kit lens and it turned out surprisingly well (even at ƒ/5.0).
