Best of a bad lot; flat skies and very hazy weather making landscape photography a bit of a pain at the moment. :(



This Bronze Age portal tomb (or "dolmen"), known as "The Coffin Stone", lies to the north-west of the summit of Djouce mountain in County Wicklow.

Agreed with the above poster..EXIF would be nice. Dllavaneras uses a macro flash sometimes but your lighting is always spot on and has a "natural" look (consider the lighting of the background). I have tried shots like these and I have never gotten even CLOSE to this level of detail with a dedicated Macro lens and superb sunshine.

What is your technique? Are you freezing them like Lee Frost ?I am asking because you seem to get insects always spot on in positions where they usually DO NOT stay still :)
