For those asking about how he does it, I thought I'd share some other online information on photographing hummingbirds. I suspect these couple of articles by Scott Bourne are pretty similar to how the hummingbird photos shared here have been made.

My wife still has the flower ring her bridesmaid carried from 16 years ago. It gets pretty dusty though. Maybe I should attack it with my lens rocket blower!

By the way they have dropped the drawing pin button in favour of these selections now. I guess there were too many complaints. I used BB Code which I guess is the right one.
I've started tweaking even my film shots a little bit now!

That is a really intense orange sunset, I've never seen it before. I've come back and looked at this several times now and I have to ask. What is with the double sun? I know there is a natural phenomena which makes that appearance, but forget exactly how.
