Ken I’d say it’s a fallen tree which the roots have pulled up a big patch of ground around the base, like when tress get blown over in storms.

I wouldn't mind doing one if there's interest; however, I will warn you that there is less post-production than there appears to be. Despite my (relatively) young age, I cut my photographic teeth in an analog darkroom and have maintained the same light-handed approach to editing with my digital output.
And, since threads in a photography subform are rather dull without images:

You do yourself a disservice young man... The output is the key. The easier the path to it the better.
While post heavy is my style, more right in camera is yours so interesting...
