Louis....I take it you are pleased with this phone? You take some excellent photos. Much use of editing effects after taking the shot?

Thank you sir, for your kind words! I am indeed very impressed with what this little machine is capable of producing. But then again, I haven’t used any professional gear before so there’s nothing to compare the iPhone to (well, it sure can‘t compete with the amazing photos posted by all of you).

Much like photography, I’m still experimenting with editing as well, mostly going through the stock editor and sometimes Lightroom.

Are you altering the colours after the fact? You seem to get interesting blues, teals etc.

Your photo taken with the iPhone is quite good.
 
we were going to go to Lewis on holiday this May, sigh..........

Ah well, the Hebrides have been there for many years, so I guess you can visit them next year. It is sad to see holiday plans go down the drain, but in the grand scheme of things it's a minor inconvenience. (I keep telling myself)
