That's beautiful. Beautiful bird and great shot.
What is it?
It is a Tufted Titmouse. The tuft is actually hidden by the flight. As @Darmok N Jalad said, I think it's a house finch.
We were referring to gaswerks‘ bird shot further back, the bird with the red. Yours sure looks like a titmouse though. It is a Tufted Titmouse. The tuft is actually hidden by the flight.
Is the European robin as bold as the American variety? Ours you can usually walk right up to before they hop away. I’ve gotten within a few feet of them before.First time having my camera out since we moved at the start of December. Robin was giving us a lovely evening song, so thought I'd snap his picture.

In my experience they are very skittish and won't let you close, hence the need for a longer lens.Is the European robin as bold as the American variety? Ours you can usually walk right up to before they hop away. I’ve gotten within a few feet of them before.

The female version of AlaskaMoose beds down several times per day, getting up "in between" to eat some more:
She could be pregnant (don't really know), and has a young calf. Both the mother and calf look quite healthy, a little chubby They have been hanging around the neighborhood for a couple of weeks already, and stop by my backyard every now and then.Is it mating season, or has that finished and she is already pregnant?
Try a different deodorant! I’ve seen them eat from people’s hands. In my experience they are very skittish and won't let you close, hence the need for a longer lens.
Their song is beautiful though.
Cheers
