AOC G Line 2nd Gen (AOC CU34G2X). 34" ultrawide with 3440 x 1440 resolution. I believe I paid $450 (US dollars) for it at the local Micro Center back in November of last year.

I really like it, but then I also don't do top of the line graphics / video work nor do I play high end games. Those seem to be the areas where reviews called out the shortcomings. Which doesn't surprise me, given the price. It is easy to spend $700 - $100 for 34" ultrawide monitors, and even more once you go up to around a 40" size.

So I am hoping that more affordable 40-43" ultrawides are available by the time I am ready to get a bigger monitor than this one in a few years.

EDIT: Here is a link to the monitor at Micro Center. I realize you may not be in a location that has a Micro Center store, but the Specs tab has a lot of technical info. AOC ultrawide monitor @ Micro Center

Thanks for the info & link ?

4 x 5 photo taken with old Sinar view camera when I was at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the mid sixties. View camera allowed me to keep the plane of the film vertical while moving the lens up to frame picture. Note all vertical corners, windows not trapezoidal if camera was pointed at the building. Place is now called Esperanza Mansion and is located in the Finger Lakes Region of NY. It was purchased and fully renovated into a hotel and restaurant in the late 90's.
